I am very happy with our business so far I think we will be right up there.
It's such a tough league Wigan,  Forest, Norwich, Cardiff will be a big threat but if I was to predict the top 3 I would put my money on Derby, Watford & Fulham.

This will be an exciting season for sure

I quite fancy us and Derby to go up too.  Watford will probably depend on whether they keep hold of their striker (forgot name).  From what I have seen, only Cardiff and Fulham have spent anything and there was quite an interesting article about this.  No one in the championship is spending money... so I would go for:

Cardiff
Fulham
Derby
(in any order)

Unless we sign a top quality creative central midfielder I don't think we will have what it takes to break defences down and score sufficient goals to be serious promotion candidates.

I thought we would, but then I thought we would have spent some money in the window
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

its always hard to say as there will be management changes thought out the season, I don't think Norwich will do anything with their current manager, Cardiff, Ole didn't really get the team to improve in any way and they have had a few key players leave.

My Top 5

Wigan
Derby
Fulham
Watford
Blackburn

100%.  We do miss a good creative centre midfield.  We'll be solid in the centre and more attack minded down the wings.

However, the German recently signed from Arsenal may well be the midfielder we desire.

Derby, Cardiff.

Then either: Fulham or Wigan

We have enough creativity in the likes of Roberts, David & Eisfield we will create enough chances for our strikers to fire us near the top

I think it is anyone from Wigan Derby Fulham Watford Blackburn Norwich. A season is a long time and these teams seem the strongest at the moment. Things can change though including some of our young players being a revelation

I really like what Pearce is doing at Forest, he's managed to unify the entire club on and off the pitch, so I'm going for Derby and Forest, followed by eight teams competing for four places , of which we are one,
No supporter should underestimate how tough this division is this season, with the likes of QPR, Burnley, and Yeovil being replaced by the likes of Norwich, Cardiff and Wolves.

I have no idea. But I fancy Wigan and Derby. Not sure we will do any better than half way.Nothing to suggest we will be close to promotion.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Reluctantly I fully agree with this. Just don't see us anywhere near the top half dozen. I know there is still a few weeks of the window and then the loan window but I had hoped that we would have an idea of our best XI before the first game. There still seems to be many unresolved issues although I think the management have done well to clear out as much as they have. That said I am delighted to see the young lads featuring so regularly.

Wigan, Derby and Norwich.  In no particular order

I think we're a year away from being a legitimate promotion threat. Unless we make a couple more "big" acqusiitions, we're too young/too thin in too many places to think we can do this over 46 matches.

We are not getting promoted that's for sure.

I think are re-building will limit our promotability this year.
Generally the clubs that went straight back up previously got relegated because of bad luck, eg injuries to key players, then kept alot of their good players when they went down and strengtherned. We got relegated because the club totally messed up. QpR's promotion was a lucky lucky fluke, Mr Rednapp probably is Faust
