Chihi looks to be a good signing

Chihi looks like a player to my eye. Odd, though I believed him to be more of a left sided player (which he tended toward late in the game), it seemed to me that Felix deployed him up when he first came on. I thought he used his body well in a target forward like role. Good bit of skill and looks to be another free kick taker....hopefully.

Really appears to be a bit behind the others in fitness and in sharpness but he is a big body that we need in midfield and further up field. Will be anxious to see what he looks like with some playing time under his belt.

Cautiously impressed with this signing.

I agree. Was very impressed with him. Looking forward to seeing him after a few games when he gains some match fitness and is a bit sharper

Very much so, we seem to be building a front line that is showing some great promise. Adil seems to be that little bit of experience we needed to gel up front and not rely solely on Rodders to partner up Mac.
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

Yes, I agree. People shouting that the substitutions "sucked" I think are a little unfounded. Chihi looked quite the class act, and Eisfeld is one of Germany's exciting prospects, Arsenal fans ( my father included ) were livid that Wenger sold him off, and there is a reason for it. I think some are a little upset with Paddy Roberts not coming on, and that I can understand, but overall I do not think the substitutions were necessarily poor ones.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

I like that he's got the talent to go with the size. Much bigger than I thought he'd be. Have a feeling he could give Championship defenders fits.

he was good, but yes looked a bit chubby and needs a few weeks to get his fitness up.

Bloody fattys

Mmm must have seen something different he looked overweight and unfit was about to keel over when he went to take the corner. His control let him down several times and he didn't look to have much pace. Not for me

They where on the ropes at times think pat Roberts should have been the change.

I did notice one thing about Chihi though. When out on the right instead of crossing with his right he would always cut back and cross with his left.

I love this. We all watch the same game and come away with different opinions. I'll give me more time but I was not impressed from what I saw. Happy to be proven wrong in the long run

grandad

Like the look of him. Will be a tough nut & will do well for us.

I thought he looked pretty poor but for those that saw something different I can only say that I hope you are right.

Pluto

Thought he was fantastic. I see some fans are already scapegoating him on twitter because his face doesn't fit in much the same way that people did about Senderos but he didn't put a foot wrong for me.

rockieroad

I think a few people didn't think much of him just because he was subbed on instead of roberts. Poor bit a of criticism imo. Those people will then go on and complain about players being too young. Give a him a game or two.

Humbled

for me he was strange....
was not nice on the eye at all.
I can see him being one of them players that 1 week he will glide past defender then another look non league, constantly falling over his own feet etc...

I have to say some of his runs after laying off the ball were awful though.

Funny how some think he was poor and some think he was good, be interesting to know who went to the game and who watched on a stream as you can see more at a game.

I don't want to be harsh on him as it was his first game and never easy coming on as a sub in your first game .

Personally I thought his first touch was shocking but he seemed to get away with it a lot.

Given a run of games I think he could be decent but I'd still rather kaca or George Williams get a run of games

Exactly.
Seems to be only left-footed and as a result he looked a little one-dimensional to me.
Still, early days.
Lets give him some game time to see.

btw, I was at the game

Siblings, let us not be down on it.
