Anyone else think...

Northern Cottager

Few days before the transfer window shuts and we finally find out Larnell Cole is missing through injury but is close to returning? It's not even like we've heard where he is before now.

Seems he is being resurrected to create more competition for places in our heads and a phantom 'extra body'. Then when we ask about the lack of activity it's a case of well, we got Cole, Tunnicliffe, Kaca back as well as other injuries and we've slowly signed the younger players onto longer contracts.

Don't think we'll be signing anyone this window!

MJG

Symons gave an update last month on Cole saying how unlucky he had been with his injury.

FPT

He told us a good month ago. Came back, got reinjured.

Good to hear that Liam Donnelly is back with the Under-21s.

I must have missed that, still seems a huge gap of no mentions, no?

Larnell Cole must be like the zombie cat that dug himself out of the shallow grave.  I wonder if he'll have one eye missing.  :58:

Would explain such a long lay off with an injury.

If it was his left eye, McGath would have played him on the right wing (or RB)
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

Nothing a block of cheese couldn't heal though.

Artful Dodger

After years of looking at the gossip pages every day, I have actually forgotten we were in the transfer window - not helped by our lack of genuine activity. We are probably a bit too far off the playoffs for it to make too much of a difference anyway but it would be nice to have got one or two in and made a good run towards the end of the season.

With the addition of 2 or 3 players I think we will be well placed next season given the younger players will have a year's experience behind them.

the fact he is back training with both the 21's and first team is promising. If he is as good as some say he was at United and from how Kit seems to be pleased with him then he could be a good assett

Bronaldinho

Larnell Cole is a top talent, unfortunately he's just had injuries hence the missing without notice.

What is apparent though is that boy is lightning quick and he showed that in the 2-2 draw against Man United. Both him and Tunners were highly rated at Manchester United, so once he is fit again I'd expect him to be in the first team.

Kit has said that when he has trained with the first team he's impressed, so I think he'll be a hit.

Bronaldinho

He also scored this peach last year just before his move to us :)
