Who's better, Garbutt or Husband?

A months loan seems a bit underwhelming at this stage but, if we've already committed a years loan with Garbutt, then there's not point in signing Husband long term, doesn't make good business sense.

Looking at the positives, he can slot straight in, knows the players, Kit etc, will be here for the next 4 key games including Wolves, QPR etc, Garbutt will be back by then.

I'm assuming Husband was our main left back target, but Middlesborough didn't want to let him go.

I'm OK with this, but we need more than just James Husband on a months loan.

A month to cover Garbutts injury, on paper Garbutt is better as he has been picked for the national U21's but I think its quite close.

Garbutt by a long way imo. Great to have Husband as cover for now though.

Not to say it cannot be extended at a later date as if the paper work is there I think it's just an agreement to extend

Right now, I'd take Husband - proven quality in this league.

The player with the higher value would be Garbutt though - shown a lot of promise and even if he only develops into half of what's expected of him he'll be a first choice premier league RB in a season or so.

Garbutt without a doubt!

Husband is a nice, steady Championship full back but Garbutt is genuine class.

Garbutt could play prem, when he's healed I'm sure he'll be by far our best player, was a huge coup to bring him in for the season. Husband is great cover while he's injured, but garbutt is a much much better player

Honestly if Baines wasn't at Everton Garbutt would have been starting the last season at least. My Everton mates are pleased he's got the chance to play first team football.
