My Mrs put me to shame today

So I do an accumulator every weekend, I used to be pretty good but lately I have struggled. I have an unbelievable run of getting them all right bar one result and it's always one goal away from coming off.

The Mrs said to me today "I don't know why you bother wasting your money. You're rubbish at it" So my response considering my ego was hurt was to challenge her foolishly. "I'm better than you at predicting the results" I said. So anyway, I forget all about it and head off to work for the late shift. I get a text at 10 to call her, so panicking that somethings wrong I rush to ring her to be told "I opened a paddy power account today and deposited a £5 bet on four teams. You know how you say you're better at predicting than me? Well I just won  £270 on Arsenal, Brighton, Cardiff and Huddersfield."

I was gobsmacked lol. But it's worked out well in the end, she's giving me 100 quid which pays for Bristol City. Happy days! Cheers love  078.gif 081.gif

Nothing wrong with this.  A misses who puts you in your place and then shows that she still loves you by giving you money.  Nothing wrong at all.

Can't remember the last time I landed an accumulator. I think what I need to start doing is pick one as i would normally, then bet on the complete opposite !
