Team for Blackburn?

So, After the success of a changed lineup vs. Newcastle what would your starting 11 be vs. Blackburn.

I would be tempted to go. Button, Fredericks Kalas Ream Malone, Johansen Cairney Mcdonald, Aluko Kebano Sessegnon.

Although I would be temped to start Martin against a much more defensive Blackburn. Its just too harsh to drop Sessegnon after that game.

For me I reckon you play Martin or Cyraic and drop Sessegnon back into left back with Malone on the bench. And then Fredericks in for Odoi.

Problem is Jocanovic is continually making small changes to our line up which are successful and are confusing the opposition but it is making it difficult for us to decide on the best line up.

Keeper:-  Button

Right Back:-   Odoi or Fredericks

Left Back:-   Malone or Sessegnon

Centre Backs:-   Kalas and Ream (or maybe Madle)

Midfield Engine Room:-  McDonald, Johanson , Cairney (no options, it is working so well, leave it alone)

Lone Striker:-Kebano or Cyriac or Ayite (if Fit)

Widemen:- Aluka,with  Kabano, Sessegnon or Ayite (if fit)

Think I may have second guessed Jaconavic there, just a matter of getting the right permutation  but any one should be capable of a win against Blackburn.

living in fantasy land here but from the start I would give  sessegnon the freedom to roam all over the pitch

I reckon Blackburn will set themselves up firstly not to concede and use a bit of thuggery  identifying cairney  and aluko

a sessegnon wild card might just be the dagger to their defensive heart


as soon as it is obvious it isn't working changes can be made before too much harm is done

but if it does work . . . . .
