Unfortunately being predicable makes the disappointment no easier.

Thought we were second best after half time & Blackburn would have been unfortunate to lose. I wish they had though

Didn't win any second ball, too many players looked leggy & we were unable to retain possession. 2 points down in my last 10 forecast. Need to rest up, go again on Saturday & win. If we do we will be in top 6 & pschologically positive going into international break

At least Wolves played tonight so won't be any fresher.

But will be full of confidence having come back from behind

Luka

The team to a man looked like they thought they would win easily.
Pissed about with the ball all night like a bunch of premadonas instead of getting on with it.
In particular Cairney was giving it the Billy big bollox but delivered nothing.
I trust Slav will get the attitude sorted out by Saturday.

Agree with you Statto

There is a reason we are not in the top two. On our day we are the best footballing team in the league. But we have lots of problems. We don't defend well against high balls and big forwards. We dominate possession but are wasteful in the final third. Have been all season. No great shock that we were not quite at it tonight against Blackburn after all the Newcastle effort.

However we didn't lose, which means we are a point closer. Every game that we don't win means we have to have players who fail and we can blame. Most of which is just our effort to ease the pain. In the same way we over praise players when we do well.

Not a set back tonight but a reminder that we are what we are. Big game coming up before the pointless International break. Wolves won at Brentford so we need to make sure we remain undefeated after Saturdays game. But the players are not machines, we are what we are. Pleased Cyriac scored. As the manager says. One game at a time sweet Jesus. Or was that a song?
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Martin was the only player with his head in the right place for the last 30 min which says a lot about how well the rest of our lot handled the pressure of expectancy.

Cairney more than anyone went to pieces. I don't care how talented he is, he is not a captain.

Sessegnon looked totally out of his depth, a painful demonstration of how easy it is to overexpose youngsters.

Someone needs to tell Johansen the season is 46 games long because he's clearly already thinking about his holidays.

To be fair to Mowbray he got Blackburn playing well but they'll go away wondering how the hell we've got all this praise for playing good football.
Isn't that over the top criticism after what the guys achieved Saturday? I too am depressed after tonight but not like you to over react!

Gutted is the right word.
We were terrible , outplayed all through the second half, no particular player to blame, lowly Blackburn looked by far the better team.
Our midfield engine room of McDonald,Johanson and Cairney usually so good, looked so poor tonight'
Perhaps we were tired after a number of hard games recently, if that is the case and the tiredness continues then we are in for one hell of a thrashing by Wolves on Saturday.

Its a rather nice feeling when we can look on this and be disappointed. When was the last time a draw felt like a loss. Its hard to take after the Newcastle match but we have ended up with the same amount of points most of us would have been happy with. Sixth spot is only a point away. We are still very much in this.

Never really seemed on it tonight.....but anyone else think Martin could have tried a bit more, especially in the build up to their first equaliser ?
Still a lot better to this time last season.....onwards and upwards.

the minute martin came on the team gt much worse. not because of him it is just what happened and he was the wrong change. his error for the first goal was staggering, he needlessly lost possesion for no reason that is explainable except he isn't bothered one way or the other. I honestly hipe i do not have to see him take to the field again, e are better off playing as 10 men.

Correct. Some of the Martin defenders on here must be wind up merchants or QPR fans. Every week, whatever he does, the same lot defend him. Its incredible really. Either that or they must be related to poor old Cwissy. Just get rid of the toxic liability, he serves no purpose. I never thought Id say this, but we would have been far better off with Woodrow taking his place in the squad.

And every week you post exclusively about Martin. Certainly you make yourself an easy target for anyone who wants to wind you up. Admit it, you fancy him don't you.

Personally, I cant say I've ever been wound up about football, well certainly not in the last 20 years when I decided to grow up, and  especially when it comes to Martin, because people still looking for positives in his game are probably now at a point beyond sensible discussion, so whats the point ? Anyway,as for being wound up, I have enough crap to deal without decisions made by Mr Tony Khan, his mate, and the general opinions of other fans affecting my day in general.  I cheer them on during the game, as i have for 35 yrs, but generally leave my emotional interest at the gate when I leave. I'm sure others here get wound up, and perhaps they fancy him too, but as this is FOF we have to say hurrah to them, its their choice, as we should never judge. Its the law.
That aside though, your statement proves my initial point exactly, so thanks.
