He went down at the end of the game but I thought he was feigning injury just to waste a bit more time. Got stretchered off at the end however. Any news on if he is injured or not? Would be a big help if he had to miss this Tuesday.

Bill2

Apparently twisted ankle, but he looked in a lot of pain, hopefully.

The local Reading rag "Get Reading" says...

On Jordan Obita's injury - the manager's words:

"He twisted his ankle. Fredericks bombed forward. He tried to block the cross/shot. There was no tension so he twisted it. We have to have a look at it.

"Tuesday is very close. It's not ideal but they're important for us but we've got a big squad and we've got choices for what we can do."

Exactly
And we could be facing nothing but " blood, toil tears and sweat" on Tuesday.

Someone on here said they saw him leave on crutches..

That will be great if both Obita and their captain are out
I was there, standing in the Putney end

He was very quick and reduced Fredericks to very few crosses.
Hopefully he doesn't play and we can get back that crucial attacking part of our game.

I hope the guys OK though, on Wednesday.
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

RaySmith

Good for us if he is out- could be with a twisted ankle.

Surely we wish him well in his recovery.  That he convinces the Reading physio & Jaap Stam that he is fit to start.  They start him.  Fred goes past him a couple of times early doors.  We go 2-0 up then they realise that they rushed him back to soon and have to use one of their subs to shore up their back line with the damage already done...

I've no hole to dig. For once, it'd just be nice, to enjoy a post, without you crippling it with pointless jokes and remarks.

If there is any crippling being done it's yourself, your far too sensitive, man up. That sense of humour by pass operation you had can be reversed Mr Opinion. Try smiling and give your face a holiday.  096.gig

Good for you, do I look worried. If you want to think that, and that makes you feel better. Sticks and stones and all that. I think you will find you are not Exactly Mr Popularity either. But you just live your life and I will live mine, and keep your sarcastic remarks to yourself, rather than keep prodding me with a stick.

Scrumpy

So, no REAL news on Obita then! Can any Reading based Foffers keep their ear to the ground please.
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

Woolly Mammoth

I am sure they will be working on him to get him fit enough to play. That did not look an impact injury, more like strained ligaments. If it's an ankle joint, it will not clear up over night.
Cannot see him being 100%, then again the crutches may have been a precaution to keep the weight off the injury.
If he starts will he last 90 mins. We may know sooner rather than later.
