Newcastle seem to get linked with everybody.

Indeed they do, probably because they have just been promoted, and despite their location they are still a big pull for players due to the club size. Thats the only reason I can think of by the way.

Don't forget their owners fantastic reputation for looking after staff in his other businesses :)

Mind you ,we May not have replaced Ross and dembele with better players but last season we changed our whole system which improved everything ,and we certainly wouldnt have been better with Ross and dembele. Second highest goalscorers in the Championship last year is a fact not open to debate. My Point is that the collective is always more important than the individual.

Think how good we would have been last season if we had replaced Dembele with a better player.

I heard somwehere that the tribunal fee was somehting beween £350k and £500k no idea if thats true though

Yes you're right the calculation under the FIFA system would have come out around that level but it was Rhetorical question; The whole thing may not have been handled very well but we did not sell him

I'd be highly sceptical that this is legit. Also that we're looking to offload KMac and Aluko. Think its just a news circle jerk reaction to Slav's comments taken out of context to be honest.....or at least I hope so.

I haven't been disappointed with any of our player sales in the last couple of years and I'm confident that will continue. I would bet a pound to a penny we are not selling McDonald to forest but even if we do, it will only be because they've offered to pay far more than he's worth, like £15m. If they want to pay that much then fine; we'll replace him with someone better and still have cash left over for another position.

We never ever sell good players and replace them with something better. A season after selling Dembele and Mac. we are still short of a good striker.

Perfectly correct. People arguing with this most  basic of fact's are just looking for an argument.  Don't bother reacting.

The main information I have got is from the youth team. Internal thoughts towards De La Torre and the like also some anecdotal stories based on the chase of Sterling before he went to Liverpool etc. In regards to the first team, I'm no where as ITK as someone like WW is.

In regards to Aluko, Kmac, I was asking whether these boards (or fake news as you rightly called them) even try to be realistic or whether just printing b0ll0cks is enough for them. Be lovely to read some proper journalism on twitter once in a while.

Please then dont make it out that others do have contacts in the club or are ITK's when you dont have the knoweldge of what is right and wrong for their circumstances.

Wasn't doing that all. Just was making a distinction between someone having a source with some knowledge regarding First team affairs (I shouldn't have used ITK re: yourself on reflection but was typing quickly so I apologise for that) and myself who has a source with youth players (your right, my comment was before was a general statement regarding the club as through that connection my source hears things from time to time - but I never said I was ITK regarding first team affairs).

In all fairness this seems to have got a bit of hand based on what I actually posted. My post earlier was a simple statement regarding bloggers being able to write anything whether realistic or not with no facts backing it up and myself simply musing "why would we sell both"?
