Sky sources understand Fulham are working on two deals ahead of the deadline.

They are trying to sign Yohan Mollo after he had his contract at Zenit St Petersburg cancelled by mutual consent.

They also want Jordan Graham on loan from Wolves but face competition from Leicester.

only at Fulham. We get a loan in for a player who is arguably 3rd or 4th choice for his position. But fail to replace aluko

I would not be adverse to Mollo given it's a permanent deal. I think at the moment quantity is better than quality for the upcoming season, especially with injuries, as long as it isn't 15 loans because that leaves the squad threadbare at the end of the season.

Piazon wasn't rated by Reading fans, he just needed the right coach and players around him. He enjoys his football now and his play has apparently lifted. Mollo had good reviews prior to Zenit, perhaps he'd respond the same way?

Djalo has received the same treatment and in the two games has generally impressed. If we can save money on a player and get a return (aluko style) then that's surely a gd thing.

Yeah tbf we got Aluko on a free and a lot of people didn't rate him at the time. The boy came good. You never know.

Why don't clubs do that? If we did bid 15 mill yesterday, why are we only upping it now? Surley if we sat down with Newcastle and said 15 mill.. then they can argue their case and so forth, things would get done and we wouldnt have to miss out come 11pm.
