Obviously we will miss him. He was a very good player for us, especially on a free.
But he did have his limitations - which were obvious to all.

He got a longer contract than we, rightly, would have given him.
Presumably Reading identified him as a useful acquisition.
If we received anything like the sum mentioned for him we should not have hesitated for a moment.

One of those (rare) deals with something for everyone (including the serial moaners!).
