I think MLM is more of a centre back than a left back, so i'd prefer a left back as priority extra cover.

Not comfortable with playing two Left-Footers at Centre-Back which we would be doing with Ream and Le Marchand. Just feel like it'd be quite awkward.
I imagine that a few teams play with 2x right-footers, or even a right-footed left back

You don't get a centre footed centre back though
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

From Twitter (and translated from French which is why the wording's a bit off)

"Joshua Guilavogui (Wolfsburg) would be in contact with Fulham. Interests are reciprocal. Negotiations in progress. (@ManuLonjon)"

Would be a proper DM as opposed to Herrera.

Their valuations aren't worth paying attention to but he'll cost somewhere between £15m-£25m I would imagine. He's a proper DM and strong as an Ox too with a good eye for a pass, would be a good upgrade on Kmac.

Why would he be £15m to £25m when Wolfsburg apparently paid less than £3m in May 2016 following which he broke his neck two months later?

Anyone got an update on Hector Herrera?

I thought that one was pretty close aswell?

Because he's one of the better defensive midfielders in Europe and that's his value? We bought Cairney for £4m and two years later he was worth £20m with a bad knee so I'm not sure what point you're making?

kiwiwaka

Could say the same for many players.. Kante £5m then suddenly £30m+.

All these rumours it's a tough one, I'm waiting to see what comes through especially when they're all record prices for us. Soon find out!

These are certainly exciting times. Thought we were slightly off the pace initially & became anxious that team gelling would be an issue if we bought later rather than earlier but it's my feeling now that it's coming together. The FFC sums being touted around are staggering & I am becoming more positive. The phrase "Never had it so good" nearly trips off my tongue.

Isnt Tierney meant to be super good? And one of the best young prospects around?

Yep.
Wow we're certainly shopping in Selfridges for our players this window.
We've spent - what, about 52m so far? How much more do people expect Fulham to spend this window. Another 100m?!? Still so many gaps to fill!

How on earth did you conjure up 52 million for our signings so far? You are as bad as a 10 yr old journalist.

Widely quoted Seri and LM were 30, Fabri 5-5.4million - how do you figure a two year loan deal is worth £16-£17m?

Clueless AF.

I don't post much, but this type of reaction would discourage anybody from wanting to engage in what's supposed to be positive discussion. Petty, angry, and uncalled for.

Also, he was likely factoring in Mitro's signing which is imminent at this point, which will bring us to around £56m.

I said it before and say it again, no one has any clue about our finances in terms of what we can spend, what we have spent or intend too. There are so many ways that the owners can manipulate the finances to suit not sure why people get so worked up with trying to know the ins and outs. Just enjoy it, we have an owner who is investing in us. Fulham football club has an owner that I feel has taken a real shine to this small London club on the Thames

I was not making a point - just asking a question. Maybe you are right with your valuation as sometimes values do rise sharply; but in his case he played 84 times for Wolfsburg in the two years prior to their buying him for under £3m and in the two years subsequently he has played 54 games for them. As I say, you may well be correct.

Why all the c**p about the spend exactly, who gives a Monkees there walking the prices up.Relavant all of it!!

Bobby Zamora has signed for Brighton,',,,,, ,,   As club ambassador
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.
