To be sitting indoors on a glorious day like today.... But....

COME ON YOU LIONS!!! 049:gif

Don't you just love sport????
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Can't you move your TV set outdoors or stream via the internet?
No forum is complete without a silly Belgian participating!

I shall watch the Womens Tennis Final today. Have little interest in going out in the garden. Always end up feeling guilty and weeding. So indoors for me.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

All my life I have suffered from hay fever.

It can be quite unpleasant, but it has always given me an excellent, guilt-free excuse to sit in a cool, slightly darkened room with a cold glass of something slightly alcoholic to hand, watching a constant stream of top-class international sport, while the rest of the population sweat away in traffic jams, toil at mowing machinery or swear at smoking barbecues.

(stick some Prevalin up your nostrils and you don't even suffer the hay fever symptoms... but don't tell anyone.)

Those two men's semi finals at Wimbledon yesterday were riveting, I was glued to the teli from 1pm to 10pm.

:026: on beach at Sandbanks (much quieter than Bournemouth) now with a cool tinny in hand.

Basking in quiet reflection of an inspirational performance by THE UNITED KINGDOM

Which takes me back to yesterday's Andy Murray thread. If that sly shite Salmond gets his way is that the last Lions tour ever?

The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Not sure why it should be. After all, Ireland is made up of Ulster and the Republic.

That is exceedingly good news Mr A.

Shame about the tennis. Nerves destroyed the final.

Ok but I don't expect the same problem in tomorrow's  final.

Living with a lady who is from the Blue Mountains as I do, this result has made my life somewhat difficult yet I don't seem to care.

Especially as I'm looking forward to even more Aussie bashing* when the cricket starts in the week!

*Sorry MS and any Aussie Fulham fans, but you know how it is!

slightly off topic, where is your lady friend from in the Blue Mountains? I'm Blaxland born and bred, although now in London permanently (and I couldn't give two hoots about rugby)
