Good against Basle, rubbish in the Premiership Kelly is. A twobit player that is good enough to play in Switzerland.

As for reading the MB, hopefully the players take some motivation out of it because they certianly dont look like the Fulham of months past. We dont look up for it, we look content and flacid. I dont think weve won a 50/50 ball this month, nor looked bothered to win it.

I agree we have been stetched thin, too thin by the latest string of injuries. But that is not an excuse nor a reason to get hammered in 5 in a row.

...re the players reading the message boards, I very much doubt they know of this MB's existence, and I would be amazed if they were allowed to look at this site in the players lounge at Motspur Park.

The players who want to look at a MB will only be allowed to look at Fulham FC's official organ, the offal message board, and any opinions and allegations they see about themselves they will only get from there.

I doubt that any comments that are made on an independent MB will be read by the players...

CCD you did not see the Citti game then ??? ....

................Lofty is correct playing lads out of position particularly if they do not play every week
is never good ..............................and he is playing on the wrong side yesterday, or was it the right side
but the opposite from the previous week ........
he is not rubbish,  Roy chased him for a year, he was not a winter transfer signing. Are you saying Roy's judgment is rubbish also ?????????

I didnt miss that game, only missed 3 games in 5 years so far...

Maybe I am questioning who he buys. For every Hangeland theres a Andreasson

Well I'm with you Boyo.  No manager in the world could cope with seven first choice players out.  We are doing remarkably well considering and Roy is not the problem.

We are too small a squad to be fighting on three massive fronts and the injuries are testament to that.

Once we get the Irish striker (O'kaka is it)
we'll do better.

I quite liked the very brief bit I saw of David Elm - give him a few outings and who knows.

OK boyos.  I'm beginning to get a bit exaspitrated with some of yous.  So, I'm going to get my retaliationing in early.
We're not likely to have a great game today.  Theres' a possibility we're not likely to have a great game for a while.  The club is going through a mini-crisis of confidence.  It is way over-extended with too many groins, knees and shoulders with too fragile a bank balance to fly at the heights that we all wish.
What blows the hair up my nostrils is the ranting and raving (even on this board now) after a modestly average performance (like the Spurs game) along with the insinuations that Roy's not really up to it.  Too many scribes are back to the position of "I, the great messageboard warrior can see things Roy can't see because he's thick and, well, I'm a genius - and the fact that I'm all lashed up on five pints of Boddies before the game and can't see the hair on my hands stands for nought!"
One of Fulham's biggest problems has been the fickle weakness (flamed with bombastic vitriol) of its fans.  It used to be contained to the terrace - mostly the enclosure.  It's now available for purchase in stands and on messageboards.
I would ask you to recognise this: The team is light on talent; the team is light on numbers; on occasion, the team is light on goals; the team is light on wins.
What's the real problem?  THE TEAM IS LIGHT ON SPONDOOLIES, MuN!  Blind Freddy can see that!
But, effin' bloody 'ell, the team is heavy enough on points at the moment, is it not.
Instead of our moaning, our billerickying, our false-teeth gnashing, skid-mark drawing, Y-Front tangling, vicarious-living venom, THE TEAM NEEDS OUR BLOODY SUPPORT!
Therewarethen.  I feel better for having done said that, bachgen.
Nogood "semper temper my bloody daisies" Boyo
P.S.  Of course, if we win handsome like, you can forget I ever done written this - until the next game......

Rambling_Syd_Rumpo

So I'm not allowed to moan because I care about my team and they failed to perform yesterday????????
I do hope the players read this board so they can understand how much this team means to the fans, yesterday's "performance" was not good enough-this is "a fact"

If we get a striker that scores goals(just for a change) it might make life easier

yes we had important players missing and yes we where playing a very good team-but these facts do not stop it hurting like hell!

If we slip into the bottom of the league now with cup matches and Euro games stacking up and we pick up more injuries it could be squeeky bum time again and we done that once, thank you very much

100% agree. I am in this boat. I want our team to stop resting its laurels on last season and play with the fight and hunger that was prevelant the last 16 months, no matter whose in the side. I would also like to see some ambition from the administration side of the club given our newly found status to keep us there.

Good posts all. At the end of the day, there are enough of us who don't moan, to balance those that do, so if a player were to read this board, they would see support as well as criticism and as Mr. Lighthouse says, it's keeps things interesting so, again, moan away!

Roy will turn things around, he is experienced with a run of form like this and in fact has many times, in interviews, suggested that spells like this happen to teams. He knows, and has warned us many time of the possibility.

I believe he knows best and we will recover and play good football again. This team has character and a group of players who work for each other. They will sort themselves out.

Losing Dempsey, Pants, and Konch has been devastating. I never realized before how critical those 3 players are to our success.
