I do not really like polls like this.
but seeing as it is here I find it very disapointing that parker is getting so muchh of the blame.
He could have done better but not much.

He turned it round once he got decent defenders. we played well, caugght a few teams by suprise at our class and orgnanisation but as we came out of the January window there was never a hope in hell we would turn those good performances into points because we simply did not and do not have a forward line. Being reliant for so long oin a single player to score goals, mitro, was bound to go wrong, and it has. no back ups, no depth in the squad.

Of all the people to blame, parker is not the one. i have no doubt with a couple of better signing we would be sitting respectably just out of iminent danger.

Parker does not desrve the criticism like this and the poll is a a sad reflection on some of our supporters knowedge. And yes, I also think he is too cautiouus and we could be more adventurous, but I cannot say even with that happening, with this squad we would have any more points, it would probably be less.

Parkjer has done a good job. It is not him that is the problem.

When you stop laughing at what you have written, take another look and you will see that Parker and hisdefensive tactics are VERY MUCH TO BLAME.

If you are commenting on my opinion, then you clearly have not been able to coipe with the typing!
When you leak goals the first thing you have to do is stop that and with new players he brilliantly blended the team to become difficult to play.
However as we headed to the end of 2020 it was clear that we had no attacking threat and whilst we pinched a goal here or there if we risked opening up and 'having a go' then we just leaked goals again.
We don't have a forward line, i am not sure what anyone expects, lob the ball in aimlessly, lose possesion and get hit on the break. Chelsea showed that because we actually did attempt to take the game to them but our players are just not up to it. Not Parker's fault.
He could have done better, we all understand that, but not much better.

I'm unsure tbh, I think he has been dealt a difficult hand since Covid and the late arrival from play offs plus early start to the season. Some performances have been good and there have been fine margins in a lot of games. But the tactical attacking element missing in critical games makes me fear the future. Why could he not have played two Strikers in some games ? And why certain players are playing when they are not cutting it time and again.

Roll on next season.

I have the same misgivings; but then I wonder what else he could have done, given our current crop of forwards. We have no real pace up front so sitting back and relying on long balls out of defence would be unlikely to work. Every time he has played Mitro, albeit mainly for short spells, he has failed to deliver so tactics based around finding Mitro in the box have not worked, either because of Mitro not being in the right place or because our crosses have not been good enough. Having said that. the Mitro/Maja partnership has not been tried - I think it should have been given a go, especially in games we had a good chance of winning. I also think he has left it too late to make changes in most games, and I've never been a fan of sitting back on a lead. Before making a judgement I'd like to see how he fares with a decent set of forwards. (Dream on.)

We became more negative and predicable as the season went on. From the Man City game onwards, the tactic seemed to be to avoid attacking. It was embarrassing how many backwards passes the team made in recent games where we need to win.  Parker removed all our attacking threat in favour of trying not too concede. I'll never forget the Wolves game where our main tactic seemed to be to pass it backward to Andersen at every opportunity - in order for him to try and launch one of his crossfield passes to the foot of one our wide players. It didn't take long for the opposition to work that one out, especially as it had been used with almost as much regularity in previous matches!

Agree with the above post. Wolves changed their formation after 25 minutes and we didn't have a clue after that. People talk about us loosing that match in the 93rd minute but they forget that Wolves had a perfectly good goal chalked off by VAR just before half time. We created nothing once they worked out our one and only  tactic.

One point and 3 goals is it since the Liverpool game - that game is two months ago now. There have been a lot of winnable games in those fixtures as well.

I think the talk about Jokanovic in his final season was largely mired by the (irrelevant) contract issue which people have been tricked into believing was relevant to his loyalty.  It would seem that after the CK incident the air around Jokanovic in the senior staff part of Motspur Park turned toxic.  I remember the very awkward time that followed the game at Brentford, and a video was posted post game which demonstrated the divisions amongst the fans.   This was the stuff the Khans could capitalise on if Jokanovic couldn't pull off his usual miracle.   It is also the time the name Ranieri starts to be whispered in places where only the most favoured go.   I thought it was a joke when I first heard and just laughed.  Of course the problem was Jokanovic's side went on a record run bolstered by the arrivals of Targett and Mitrovic at the eleventh hour.  Did TK curse that moment of destiny when a player he had been chasing in the summer suddenly becomes available in the winter at a time when Jokanovic is proving to be a problem to him?  Did that foil the plans of our owners or simply just delay them?   I'd love to know the truth of what went on between SK, CK, TK, CR, and SJ, and why our Serbian coach didn't much like the contract the Khans offered him.
