Watched second half, alone with the bartender in Courtyard Hooligan's pub in Charlotte, North Carolina.   When Deuce hit that goal, I don't think ive ever screamed so loud.

When we got to the final we were sitting next to a couple of guys who were Liverpool fans who had just assumed that if they bought final tickets they'd be watching their team. They still turned up even though it was Fulham and they supported us that night just as loudly as any Fulham fan. It was a truly humbling evening.

We also loved our trip to Hamburg for the semi. It may have been a 0-0 but that felt like a huge result and we partied until the early hours in a club on the Reeperbahn. 

Oh my lord, what nights they were. A team of heroes a manager who understood ex aptly what was needed and some of the greatest moments of our lives.

Basel was another great night, absolutely freezing, great atmosphere.

Very fortunate I was there for this one. Was studying at the time, but was completely unforgettable. Can't imagine anything ever topping it.

Its ok to say stand up if you still believe but what are you asking us to believe in?  The tooth fairy?  Santa? That Fulham can beat Liverpool? 

I look back on that era with as much fondness as anyone but back then we had the personnel.

I believed in Hodgson.  I believed in Murphy, Schwarzer, Zamora, Dempsey, Duff etc etc.

Who out of this rabble to you believe in at the moment?  I certainly can't believe AA. Not on what I ve seen and heard from him so far.  I dont believe in Andersen, Berge, or Bobb.  About the only one I believe in is Josh King and he won't be here in 2 years. 

I was there, best footballing moment of my life. However half that squad was frankly Championship quality by today's standards. Hodgson worked a miracle. We have much more player-for-player technical quality in the current squad.

But RH fostered a spirit led by Murphy was highest in my time supporting Fulham and made me truly proud and STand up chant felt we were all part of the Fulham team under roy Hodgson.

Still cannot believe we didn't win that, but when you look back and realise that they had a young Agüero and De Gea in the team not to mention Forlan I'm not surprised we didn't, especially given Zamora was injured. Still think it's nonsense that a CL club was able to drop down into the Europa league though.

Probably the most negative take I've read on things a few games into the season.
3 games in the league, one in the cup. An XG against in those three games almost identical to the same games last season. An improved XG for, despite somehow scoring less.
So you have little faith in Garcia? Robinson? Bassey? Charles has looked good, you're yet to see Larsson and Affengruber or Angel.
I'd love us to beat Liverpool not for the points but to put and end to this unbelievable pessimism that seems to have taken over some people.

Robinson hasn't hit a target with a cross for months.  I think Garcia shows prmise and Bassey is a beast.  But there is very little to like about a lot of this player list.

I was on one of the club coaches for that one (the Iceland volcano had shut all the airspace so was the easiest option). 14+ hours each way, both overnight. And all for a 0-0 draw 

Back to The Juve game, that was indeed one of the greatest nights. We were in H7 row S, so had a cracking view of Dempsey's chip.

The Hamburg second leg celebrations were absolutely legendary. Watching John Paintsil doing his usual laps at full time, and the Hammy end going bonkers. Watching the coverage back later, that's when I kinda fell in love with Peter Drury. His speech at the end still sends shivers down my spine!

Finally, legging it up to the Duke of Cornwall after the game and having a few celebratory pints and watching Liverpool get knocked out rounded off the evening splendidly!

Zamora was the best center forward in Europe that year and Gera is another of my all time favourite Fulham players
