quote from Alfie "Roy comes to Fulham does not have a great start, but tries to install his way of playing, has a little bit of success in taking us to a final, then buggers off to Liverpool. That has got to be the most ludicrous statement I have ever read on here, A little bit of success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes what actually did he win, and he did bugger off to Liverpool as we were not big enough for him, not only that i hated his style of football.

Listen mate it is my opinion like you have yours and i am happy for you to comment on it, if you don't agree with it then that's just fine, don't think you need to add the word ludicrous, are you trying to impress someone.

Ok point taken, I was not trying to belittle any achievement, i was just trying to highlight the similar events between the 2 managers and how we look at them in different ways.
Please strike my comment about you trying to impress someone, i know you are a trusted supporter of the club.
I am not happy with the way things are going, and i know you dislike Jol as a manager but i also think that the players should be a little more professional when the take to the pitch.

I agree mate, I spoke to a man today who seeing my Fulham hat  said " He will take you down Jol will, he nearly killed my club ( spurs ) and we were glad to be shot of him, he brings unrest and is arrogant and stubborn" He caused massive unrest and upset most of the senior players when he came" Ring any bells? I cannot say if what he said is fact as I have never been interested in Spurs fortunes but listening to him I felt he really knew what he was talking about.

All these Jol protectors are deluded. We have been shot for 4 months, with the odd good result. Drawing at home to Wigan and Southampton is shocking. Something has to change, and it's gotta be him, and what the bookies are predicting, it's gonna happen. Did you see his interview after the Wigan game, he said we played well. We were awful, that's how much he doesn't know atm.

You talk as if we (The Jol Protectors) are the enemy. We are not, we are Fulham Supporters just as dedicated as you are.

A Humble Man

People are making no allowance for the injuries we have had.  We were left short of midfielders because of the very late and unexpected loss of Moussa. Ruiz then got injured, then Diarra and now Sidwell.  Jol has admitted he had to play a dangerously over attacking team against Wigan with Ruiz and Robinson out of position.  We nearly created a lot of chances but were exposed at the back as at times we had a two man defence.  At the beginning of the season when Jol could choose the team he wanted we were doing very well.  If we get our injured players back and sign a few cheap but talented players we will start to win and score lots of goals again.

I still remember Swansea away pretty clearly I was 12, last game of the season, 1994, trying hard not to cry - shut your eyes remember accepting self deprecating FFC fans singing "if you're all going to Scunthorpe clap your hands."

See everything seems ok now eh chin up?  S001.gif

Who knows with that, i have 2 spurs supporting friends and they loved Jol, still i guess we will find out one way or the other in due course, hopefully it won't be the other.
