Do you think Fulham win a trophy in the next 20 years?

Feels like the round of 16/quarterfinals are a good bet most years for the Carabao Cup so its just a run of 3-4 more wins. The FA Cup a bit harder as the teams seem to take it a bit more serious later in the tournament (Manchester City played a fairly weak lineup today vs what they would play in the final 8 of the FA Cup).

So over the next 40 opportunities do we get a trophy? History says no, but I do feel like top 14-16 clubs are continuing to separate from the rest of the leagues. I am going to say yes, but days like today make you feel like it might never happen.

Disagree with this. Crystal Palace, Leicester, Wigan and Portsmouth have won the FA Cup in the last 20 years, Birmingham and Swansea have won the League Cup, West Ham have won the UEFA Conference League. If anything I would argue it's getting slightly easier as the big clubs are playing loads of overseas friendlies, leading to massive fixture congestion and them fielding weaker teams in the cup competitions.

I see no reason why we would, but we all live in hope. Our squad is not big enough, as was proved yesterday when we lost three starters in a row. Raul who put a great shift in yesterday offered nothing, but to be fair he had no support. Our bench looks thin of any threat.

I think the UEFA Conference League is probably the 'easiest' of any of the competitions to win, it's just the challenge of qualifying. Bring back fair play qualifications!

All those things happened in the past. The question concerned the future. The rules are forever changing to curb spending which favour the entrenched big teams and quash the ambitions of smaller teams. Portsmouth spent unsustainably to win an FA Cup and then suffered financial meltdown and the rules are now designed to prevent that. Palace have gradually improved and done very well with their spending; Leicester were a recent PL champion when they won the cup with an expensively assembled squad which ended up being unsustainable for them. We would need a very favourable draw, all our transfers to be bang on, and to play out of our skins when we face a big team in the semi or the final. The odds are well against us.

You make a good point on Conference League, I think that would be our best chance of winning a trophy if we can qualify. The standard of it is very low that really Premier League teams should win most of the time.
