And if he doesn't, what are you going to do??

He's given the club stability in the toughest league in the world. I know it seems as if the fans are divided over Silva but what can we honestly expect with the budget and players he has had at his disposal?? I personally think he will be off to Palace. No one in their right mind would touch the other mob. And then what??

FFC007

If Fulham qualify for Europe... I think he stays.

If we don't, and Palace win the conference league... he's off to Selhurst.

He won't go to Chelsea, as there's no guarantee they'll be in Europe either.

It's interesting that you know what he is going to do, whilst the rest of us know nothing 🤣🤣🤣

Fulham qualifying for Europe has been in his hands all season and so far it isn't looking convincing that he can actually achieve it.

If Iraola is off to Palace.. he's obviously rejected Chelsea?

v

At Chelsea he'll have even less control over transfers than he currently has at Fulham, or have I missed something? 🤔

RDdubya

I think he goes to Chelsea, under all the above mentioned conditions, resigns or is sacked in 3-6 mos, takes his big package/pads his resume, and moves on to his next plan - Spain or Portugal

If he doesnt stay then he goes to Benfica

Fulham 442

I seriously don't care anymore, this saga has just dragged on for too long. I'm FTID and what will be will be.

I'm actually not sure if I want Marco to stay now, his lack of commitment has, in my mind led to our current situation of flux and negativity, hos tactics recently have been strange and it looks like costing us any chance of Europe

He's on the beach too...

From a Fulham perspective, the worrying thing is that there doesn't seem to be anything really compelling him to stay. The transfer strategy is likely to remain the same and we'll probably continue operating in the same way.

But Marco doesn't have the same leverage as other free agent managers this summer, like Iraola or Glasner. No trophies, no clearly identifiable style of play and while he can definitely have complaints about losing players like Mitro without proper replacements, the football has become pretty dull recently.

A lot of our recent wins could easily have been draws or even losses on another day. Yet when we lose, 10 out of 10 times the performance put in would end defeat.

He's not stupid. After the reputation damage from Watford/Everton situation I don't think he's in a position to publicly say he's leaving at the end of the season. He isn't guaranteed a better job than Fulham and he isn't special enough to be top of the list for a bigger club. It would be embarrassing if he announced he was leaving and then didn't land anything better.

I think he's more likely to end up somewhere like Forest than Chelsea, United, etc. He may be 2nd or 3rd choice for a bigger club, but with the managerial market moving this summer, it feels like he's putting his name out there to see if he can land something better.

Ultimately, what worries me most, not just whether Marco stays or goes, but the idea that we're waiting around to be someone's second choice. If the club is serious about moving forward, we can't afford to drift. The owners have to show ambition and clarity. Because if the manager is unsure, the transfer strategy is unchanged and the club is still reactive rather than proactive, then we're not progressing. We're just surviving.

It's difficult to argue with that as his best option if he gets the chance.
