What will the conversation be like regarding a potential new manager?

I'm just trying to imagine the conversation regarding a new manager

TK

"Hey Dad   - we are going to have to need to get ourselves a new coach . No matter  how much money we throw at Marco he doesn't want to stay God knows why not - isn't everything about money - or maybe he's learned a thing or two from me about last minute deals and brinkmanship ? "

SK
"So Who have you got in mind ? Are there any out of work , experienced manager's out there?"

TK
"Dad I know you made your name in spare parts and old bangers but that's no way to go .What we need is a  a new approach- something that will light up " the socials " and get everyone talking about Full Ham ( stands up ) COYW!!!

We gotta  get in someone no one's ever really heard of - it's the modern way - someone who can really motivate the locker room and use the whole roster including the kids. "

SK
Are you sure ? What about football experience  coaching badges etc

TK( laughing )

" Come off it Dad - soccer knowledge?!!
Just look at me and how well things turned out - anyway any problems and I will just  wrestle with them at the time

I won't be around until after the World Cup thing - but we've got time ."

Sk: Come on Tony sort out that new Coach.

TK: New Coach? Didn't we buy that plush 52 seater a couple of years ago?

Groan....how old is that 'joke' ?? We should be grateful we have a decent owner, no matter what some might think of him and his son and other members of the Board.

Snibbo

We're lucky to have the Khans as owners. Have a look at the alternatives. Not many, if any I'd swap.

What on earth is your problem Super Freeman? Light hearted banter clearly isnt your forte is it? Youre great at slagging other posters, which seems to be the majority of your contributive postings. He hasn't insulted anyone. Perhaps you should lighten up a bit and try doing the same. Who knows, you might even get a couple of likes.

Agreed. His posts are very unpleasant towards others.

I would stick to the day job if I were you.

Did a five year old write that??

It's not even funny. Just desperate.

Without the owner, Fulham would be in the ****, no matter what you think of him and his son and other members of the Board.

When are football fans going to realise they are not 'entitled' and the club owes them nothing. It's the fans choice to support a team. If you don't like it, don't go.

Flippin' heck, total sense of humour bypass.

Thanks Blingo & ffcthereligion I was only trying to lighten up the situation - one which I am quite worried about . Clearly satire and a bit of fun doesn't go down well with everyone.

For what it's worth I have nothing but admiration for our owner. I also always point out in my posts when discussing their decisions that they are fully entitled to do what they want - it is their "train set" and investment. Pointing that out doesn't mean I have to agree with everything though.

Also I don't buy that a criticism of one of them means criticism of them both. They shouldn't always be lumped together - as that in itself is disrespectful to them as individuals .

I will even admit that I think TK's performance has improved over the years . That being said if Fulham are to kick on - then I think that we need to move to the next level ( that may require a new manager with new ideas ) but also a UK based top level DOF whose time is fully focused on one thing - FFC.

Most of us are worried about the manager. I for one have a feeling our owners already know Silva's decision and if going I wouldn't be surprised if his successor is probably agreed but nothing can be announced as both still under contract. As long as it's not Frank.

How do you know FFC would be in the brown stuff? The club would simply have different ownership. That ownership might be incompetent but it might be savvy.
