Fulham rekindle move for Allan Elias, fresh checks made
Fulham will look to sign 22-year-old Brazilian winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras this summer after rekindling the move and making fresh checks on him.

According to a report by Sport Witness, Liverpool and Newcastle United are also interested in Allan Elias as they look to bolster their offensive units by signing a versatile winger in the ongoing transfer window. However, Fulham will aim to beat the competition to the 22-year-old Palmeiras prospect's signature after reviving their move for him.

Who is Allan Elias?
Allan Andrade Elias, better known as Allan, is one of the latest promising prodigies to rise in prominence in his homeland. Born in Florianopolis, the 22-year-old spent his formative years in Brazil, starting his youth career at Figueirense before graduating from the well-known academy at Palmeiras. Initially a midfielder, he has transformed into a productive winger in the last 12 months.

The youngster has been solid in the 2026 season thus far, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 34 appearances across all competitions. The young Brazilian playmaker's growth and potential have piqued the attention of several well-known clubs. Premier League outfits, in particular, have shown interest in the youngster, with Fulham, Liverpool, and Newcastle United among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.

Premier League adventure beckons?
Fulham will pursue a versatile attacker ahead of the 2026/27 season, as they appear likely to lose Harry Wilson as a free agent. The Welsh international's departure will leave a gaping hole in the offensive unit, forcing Fulham to seek a solution from the market.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's interest in Allan Elias makes sense. The Reds are combing the market for a versatile winger, as Mohamed Salah is departing from Anfield as a free agent. Additionally, they have yet to fill Luis Diaz's void in the offensive unit, prompting them to seek multiple additions for the attack.

As for Newcastle United, Joe Willock faces an uncertain future at St. James' Park after his reduced involvement in recent seasons. Additionally, the Tyneside outfit must fill another gap in the attack, as Anthony Gordon has joined Barcelona. Allan is thus an option worth considering.

With Fulham recently scouting the 22-year-old Brazilian winger in action for Palmeiras, the battle for his signature is intensifying. Meanwhile, the Brasileirao giants want over €45 million to sanction the youngster's departure in the coming weeks, though they would prefer to keep him for the long haul.

Fulham reach agreement in principle for signing – Player rejects several PL sides for FFC
Fulham have made concrete advances to sign Bayern Munich's Jonah Kusi-Asare permanently this summer.

The Premier League initially took the striker on loan from the Bundesliga winners last summer and paid €4m as a loan fee.

Marco Silva, who has left Fulham for Benfica, didn't utilise the 18-year-old regularly. To put it in context, he played 122 minutes from 10 matches in all competitions last season. He has to return to Bayern Munich but has no future at the Allianz Arena.

Despite his failure to impress, Fulham are keen on making his stay permanent but by not exercising the €12m purchase option.

Earlier this month, Sport Witness covered claims from Germany that the Premier League side are preparing to make an offer. There was no mention of the fee or Bayern Munich's demand.

Details of Fulham's latest offer
Sky Deutschland now pick up on that and cover the latest on Fulham's advances to sign Jonah Kusi-Asare.

Bayern Munich initially rejected two offers of €3m and €5m from the English club. That didn't put them off and Fulham have returned with €6m.

Vincent Kompany's side have accepted this offer as Sky claims they have reached an agreement in principle with Fulham.

The Premier League side are optimistic the Sweden U21 international has the potential to turn into a top striker. Despite his restricted role last season, the expectations are for him to grow further.

Kusi-Asare has also attracted interest from several unnamed Premier League sides. He has rejected all of them in recent days to join Fulham permanently this summer. Sky adds the Swede will sign a long-term contract with the London club.

Our take: Good deal for all parties
Jonah Kusi-Asare has a year left on his contract Bayern Munich, and his value, as per Transfermarkt, is €3m.

Taking these factors plus his limited role last season into account, the €6m fee seems a good figure for Bayern Munich.

Fulham, on the other hand, have secured a player who they believe has the potential to establish himself as a top striker.

Report: Bayern Munich striker talent Jonah Kusi-Asare to leave to Fulham FC for €6m and buy back clause
Bayern make a big profit on selling a big talent.

Jonah Kusi-Asare's time at Bayern Munich has been a series of highs and lows. Bought for a huge €4m fee from AIK Fotboll in January 2024 during new sporting director Christoph Freund's one transfer window in charge, the move was always a risk. His profile as a technically gifted striker standing at 6'5" is exceedingly rare in football, but there were questions about his attitude. There were rumors that he was lazy, that he was incredibly inconsistent-even for a youngster- and unwilling to run. Those were the risks Freund accepted when the young Swede was signed.

For a while, it seemed like the risk had not been worth it. Despite the obvious talents and gifts the youngster possesses, Kusi-Asare was indeed inconsistent and went months at a time without scoring a goal. Injuries and inconsistency saw the Swede's 18 months in the Bavarians' youth academy end in disappointment. He remained highly rated at the Campus, though, and was chosen for Bayern's 2025 summer pre-season.

There, he finally impressed, scoring two wonderful goals and being rewarded with the initial promise of being back up to talismanic striker Harry Kane for the 2025/26 season. A late transfer market scramble for reinforcements, however, saw striker Nicolas Jackson crystallize as a target and put Kusi-Asare on the transfer list with just a few days of the 2025 summer transfer window to go.

Fulham FC would be the team to get the youngster, paying a large loan fee to acquire his services. Despite damning words from the manager and struggles for playing time throughout the previous season, the Londoners see promise in Kusi-Asare and wish to keep him. Therefore, days after a weak bid, reporter Kerry Hau claims both teams have come to an agreement:

Jonah Kusi-Asare is set to join Fulham FC on a long-term contract! The 18-year-old Swedish striker will move from Bayern Munich for around €6m. He spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage and turned down other Premier League clubs in recent days. Fulham see big potential in Kusi-Asare and plan to develop him step by step.

BFW Analysis
This transfer fee is well under the previously agreed buy option of around €12 million. Nowadays, Bayern have demonstrated a preference to retain more control over a player's future in case of future improvement, even if it means receiving a smaller fee. It is likely the Bavarians will retain some of a potential sell on fee, and inserted a buy back clause, in case the youngster does demonstrate the improvement many people see in him.

Financially, Bayern have made a big profit on the youngster. Kusi-Asare gets to go to a club where he sees more of a future and Fulham can bet on the youngster's promise. It looks like a win-win deal for all.

Buy back clause reported
Bild claims (as captured by @iMiaSanMia) that Bayern did, indeed, attach a buy back clause to the deal:

Bayern have secured a buy-back clause for Jonah Kusi-Asare. Permanent move to Fulham is done for a €6m fee.

They could not specify the amount — because, of course, they did not.

World Cup 2026: Luc and Issa secure second-placed finishes
Both Luc De Fougerolles and Issa Diop will be involved in the Round of 32 of the World Cup after Canada and Morocco secured second-placed finishes in their respective groups on Wednesday night.

Luc played the full 90 in Canada's 2-1 defeat to Switzerland. Les Rouges only needed a point to top the group, but defeat to the Swiss means they finish second and will face South Africa on Sunday evening, 8pm BST.

After a first period short on chances, it took just 40 seconds after the restart for Switzerland to take the lead as Rubén Vargas drilled home at the far post. Their advantage was extended 10 minutes later when Breel Embolo teed up Johan Manzambi to fire beyond Maxime Crépeau.

With 15 minutes to play, Luc's long searching pass was brought down expertly by Nathan Saliba, who crossed for Promise David to prod home for Canada's consolation.

Meanwhile, Issa was an unused sub in Morocco's thrilling 4-2 win over Haiti.

The debutants went ahead twice in the first period, with Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor scoring one of the goals of the tournament to put Haiti 2-1 ahead.

Morocco equalised just before the break through a crisp Ismael Saibari strike, before late goals from Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine completed the turnaround.

Having finished second in Group C, Morocco will face the winners of Group F on Tuesday 30th June, 2am BST.

World Cup 2026: Bobb wins pen in Norway loss
Norway were defeated 4-1 by France in Boston on Friday evening, in their final group game of the World Cup.

Making 10 changes to the side, it was apparent that the Scandinavians were prioritising freshness over challenging for top spot, with Oscar Bobb one of those brought in, while Sander Berge remained an unused substitute.

A clinical first half from the French saw Ousmane Dembele hit a 32 minute hat-trick, with Thelo Aasgaard on target for Norway.

They put plenty of pressure on in the second period, with Bobb at the heart of their best work. His dribbling ability won an early penalty after he was felled by Theo Hernandez, but Jorgen Strand Larsen's tame kick was saved by Mike Maignan, who also denied Bobb later on with a fine stop.

The Fulham winger was withdrawn with seven minutes to play, and watched on as Desire Doue added a fourth for France in stoppage time.

Second place was already guaranteed as a minimum for Norway heading into the game, and they will now face Ivory Coast in the Round of 32 in Dallas on Tuesday.

Tottenham battle Fulham for highly-rated £8.8m Brazilian attacker who could be free in 2027
Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on a young Brazilian starlet whose future is now entering a crucial phase.

Spurs, who have been prioritising signing young players with potential over recent years, have now shifted to pursuing proven Premier League performers.

Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Martin Dubravka have arrived through the door, and Tottenham are now trying to finalise two big-money deals for Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.

However, the Lilywhites showed with their acquisition of Souza in January that they are scouring South America for young talent, and the Premier League side is now looking to poach another Brazilian starlet this summer.

Tottenham battling Fulham for Coritiba's Lucas Ronier
Um Dois Esportes (as translated by Sport Witness) reports that Spurs and their London rivals Fulham have both expressed an interest in Coritiba's Lucas Ronier this summer.

The 21-year-old winger is entering a 'significant moment' in his career, with Coritiba starting to assess how long they could realistically hold onto the youngster.

With Ronier's current deal running until December of 2027, the Brazilian club are aware that the next European transfer window (January of 2027) could be their final opportunity to cash in before the player enters the final year of his deal.

Coritiba insist they have not received any official proposals for the attacker, but they are keen to avoid weakening their negotiating position.

Ronier wants to move to Europe
Um Dois Esportes reveal that Coritiba had previously accepted an offer of €10.3m (£8.8m) from an unnamed Saudi Pro League club for their academy graduate.

However, Ronier turned down the chance to move to the Middle East as his preference was to look for an opportunity in one of the major European leagues.

The winger's stance has not changed since then, and he is now represented by Andre Cury, who is one of the most influential agents in Brazil and has major connections across Europe.

Arbeloa keeping tabs on Real Madrid player for Fulham – Midfielder's 'greatest supporter'
Incoming Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa is keeping tabs on Real Madrid youngster Manuel Ángel after working with him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

El Correo report that Arbeloa is keen on the Real Madrid youngster and eyeing him as a potential signing at Craven Cottage this summer.

Real Madrid to Fulham
The newspaper explains that the 22-year-old's current biggest suitors are Deportivo Alavés. They are on the hunt for midfielders this summer and are scouring the market for additions.

The captain of Real Madrid's Castilla team is one of the names on their list. They have been tracking him for some time, and the reports they've received are very positive.

Manuel Ángel often stands out for his 'tactical intelligence, vision, and ability to speed up play with his dribbling and precise passing' according to the newspaper. He also has plenty of experience, already playing in La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

Those appearances came under Álvaro Arbeloa, who was his 'greatest supporter' at Valdebebas. He's now set to take charge at Craven Cottage and has the youngster on his radar. There's no indication of any moves beyond that.

But the 22-year-old is a player that he knows well. In fact, Manuel Ángel has made 40 appearances under the Spanish coach during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu. That includes two appearances against Manchester City in the Champions League last season in Madrid's win in the last 16. He is clearly a player that incoming Fulham manager trusts.

Real Madrid want control
A deal may not be difficult to get over the line either. Manuel Ángel only has a year left on his deal at the Spanish giants.

Indeed, they are keen not to lose full control over him. He's considered a quality player with great potential. Those in charge are considering how to manage his departure.

A contract extension would be their preferred route, but a loan is also an option if that is secured. Alternatively, a sale while retaining a percentage of his registration rights and a buy-back option would also work for them.

That is something for Fulham to potentially look into. Arbeloa is a known fan either way and continuing to work with him could make sense for Manuel Ángel too.

Bayern include buy-back clause in Jonah Kusi-Asare Fulham deal
With Jonah Kusi-Asare nearing a permanent move to Fulham, Bild reports that Bayern Munich have secured a buy-back option for the young striker.

It was recently reported that Jonas Kusi-Asare is on the verge of joining Fulham on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich after spending the 2025/26 season on loan at the Premier League club.

However, Bayern will be able to bring him back should they wish to do so, with Bild reporting that the German champions have secured a buy-back clause for the 18-year-old striker.

Bayern and Fulham are said to have agreed a €6 million transfer fee for Kusi-Asare.

Kusi-Asare joined Bayern from Swedish side AIK for a reported fee of €3.5 million in February 2024.

Since then, the 18-year-old has made just two appearances for Bayern's first team.
