We should make an offer for him

FFC007

Norway are a very dangerous side... they could win this whole thing if they keep this up.

Fulham 1879

It's Haaland 2 Brazil 0. Without him it would take Norway a month of Sundays to score a goal.

How much do you think England can offer

We're going to have Trump make a call on behalf of the US

He's the greatest out and out striker I have ever seen.

He really could carry Norway to win the World Cup.

He could have declared for England of course, (Kane would have been the back up).

As well as Haaland their keeper was brilliant.  ::thumb::

Kept them in it for sure. Ever since Neymar came in Norway was the better team. Before that, Norway controlled the game in terms of possession, but Brazil had more and better chances. Brilliant work from their keeper. Then Neymar came in and they lost the structure, imo, allowing Norway two take over. Two top class goals from Haaland.

General

Was he ever technically eligible for England? Didn't he grow up here/was he born  in England (I don't know) when his dad played for Man City?

General

Still only 25 too, 26 later this month. Technically his peak years are still to come

If I was Tuchel I would man mark Haaland with Dan Burn, he is the only one who can match him in the air.

The good thing about facing Haaland/Norway is that these England players play Haaland at least twice every year so should know how to deal with him.

If Stones starts with Guehi and O'Reilly we'll have 3 Man City teammates in defence, which could help. Obviously, knowing what he's going to do is not the same as stopping it.

The only thing greater than his talent is his ego, He makes Zlatan Ibrahimović look meek.
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Gabriel plays him twice a year and he was dumped on the floor, and he is recognised as one of the best defenders in the league. the only way you have a chance is stopping the ball getting to him in the first place.

Sadly she wasn't

When Brazil introduced Neymar, I knew Norway would win this game.  Neymar just isn't the player he used to be.  Slow, sluggish, easily taken off the ball.  Handicaps the club when he's brought on methinks, just my opinion....

He was born in England... I thought when his Dad played for dirty Leeds?

It would be some story if Norway did manage to go all the way. A country with a population of just over 5m and with not much of a history in the tournament. It's good to see someone different making a name instead of the Brazil's and Germany's etc.

Having said all that I hope we can finally end the 60 year wait and add another star to go above the 3 Lions badge. Haalands young enough 2 play in a few more WC's.
