St Eve

But we are 4-0 up at half time against France

bill taylors apprentice

Missed the first two goals as I was watching the Rugby, when i turned over I almost choked on my crisps!

The Cravenette

Oh, it matters. Imagine if we were losing 4-0.

France haven't turned up but we have been brilliant and shows a lesson has been learnt at least.

Maybe we should bring on 6 defenders and try to hang on!

Snibbo

Quick bring on Dan Burn 😉

First State

England folding like a cheap suit in the second half.

Yet again, amateur defending by us!

That was the most entertaining pointless game that England has ever played and come very close to losing a 4-0 lead.

Lets not analyse it too much but overall good entertainment!

Well the main thing I got out of the tournament is that England has incredibly terrible defenders, save Spence. I don't know if Englqnd's tournament would be different if Tuchel just brought Maguire.

France forwards are exceptional when in full flow so not sure why that makes our defending amateurish.

At the end of the day tonight's game showed how well we can play with no pressure. I believe we have learnt a lesson from the semi-final so let's try to be positive.

What a fantastic game of football that was!

Main thing I took from that game is that it could have been 1966 again if Tuchel was half the manager we need for England. Basically it took him showing our team and himself up to depart from a failed selection and substitution script.

Cambridge Away

Too depressing to watch. Spanking the French just shows what we missed. And how did Saka not start, let alone play, against the Argentines?

Good lord, I've seen some miserably sad sports fanatics who only choose to see the sad side of life, but I prefer to look on the bright side of having had the privilege of witnessing one of the best sporting contests of all time.
Same went for Fulham's comeback against Man City.

The bit I  saw,  Saka's goal, had their keeper running around like something out of Monty Python. Switched off then as game was just a farce.
