Álvaro's backroom staff

We are pleased to confirm the makeup of Álvaro Arbeloa's backroom staff at Fulham.

From left to right:

Alex Salvador: Head of Strength & Conditioning

Kevin Cardeiro: Head of Player Development

Francis Sanchez: Head of Analysis

Julián Carmona: Assistant Head Coach

Ricardo da Silva: Head of Performance

Álvaro Arbeloa: Head Coach

Borja Fernandez Freiria: Lead Goalkeeping Coach

They join Ali Melloul (First Team Coach), Colin Omogbehin (First Team Development Coach), and Geoff Warne (Goalkeeping Coach), who were already in situ at the Club.

That's an awful lot of people to replace and compensate when Arbeloa eventually leaves the club!
As all managers do eventually.

Isn't that the case for all managers? Any manager worth their salt will have a backroom of staff.

All of them have facial hair as well
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

SP

And a distinct lack of tattoos.

Good.  Now sign some players to compete with these coaches.

From The Athletic re. Julian Carmona:

"...he has been Arbeloa's right-hand man, responsible for areas including set pieces and attacking situations."

Great to have them aboard. If they can get us playing like the Spanish national team I'll be chuffed.  ::scarf::

As long as they cut out the diving!

I'd be happier if there was a defending coach there too
In so many games over the last 2 years, any opponent's attack has seemed to open us completely up. It's only because of last minute tackles, great saves or poor finishing that we didn't concede so many more goals. Surely there is a better way to organise at the back and stop runs through massive defensive gaps

SP

They look very happy to be joining a grade A joke club.  :slap:
