Is it right to assume that all three will return to training today 🤔

General

If so, alongisde new arrivals of Garcia and Palacios, could be a nice injection of energy and competition to training! Things are starting to ramp up.

Time to get in Pitarch, another CM, a CB and winger in my view.

Pitarch is injured until late September, I'd leave him in Madrid to continue his rehab then sign him at the end of the window.

Yeh it seems alot of hints about Pitarch being in play are around. But does feel odd to pay him for a month if he's injured. I suppose something can be said for allowing him to get settled in and be around the squad at least.

Great to have these 2 back, but main thing for me to address is a CB. Evidently, our first choice is off the table so interested to see what transpires.

Andersen is off the boil too... major surgery needed in the back line.

But if/when he leaves Real Madrid is not in Fulham's gift of course.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

Bobb had some nice moments in WC.  This season I'll be looking for Bobb, Kevin and King to score some goals for the club.  Need some contribution from that group.  Obviously we'll be hoping for G&A from the RM connection, but fingers crossed several of the existing FFC lads can have positive impact.

Agreed.

Crucial spots because Berge anchors the midfield and whoever takes Lukic's spot (assuming he is moved on) will either serve as the creative outlet or the destroyer we need. I'm just not sure what Areboloa will do.

I think we have to remember that the new boys in Garcia and Palacios are new to the team. They've been part of the same club, same development, for a good part of their career. Surrounding them with experienced premier league players, who are near their age like Bobb, King and JKA, is an encouraging set up. Mix that up with PL veterans in Andersen, Bassey, Tete, Robinson, Sess, Iwobi - even Muniz, will push that strength further.

I know the majority want more players signed - but if the league started today, I'd be feeling fairly good about our current squad.

Agreed, I'd just say we really do want another central midfielder. I'm not as down on Andersen as some on here, but who knows whether he's quick enough for AA's preferred style of play. We probably ought to replace Diop with a cheaper backup though.

Berge Palacios

Bobb King Kevin

Garcia

... is a pretty tasty front 6 if the RM signings settle in fast.

Plus competition to start from Iwobi and ESR.

I can see Lukic being sold if we sign a replacement 8.

The Cravenette

Agreed. We need to replace Diop as not sure LDF is quite up to it yet.

Iwobi or ESR cover the left but do we have a Harry replacement yet (genuine question)? Bobb seems to be our only current RW.
