If we're still at 0pts after Hull, then maybe we need to start thinking about more drastic measures.

I've been banging on about it since the "round in circles" manager - possession is a poisoned chalice. Possession tends to result in the opponent's defenders being pushed into a small defendable space (e.g. a crowded penalty area) where attackers have less time on the ball and less space to attack. I'm no statistician but I think teams at this level win more games when they don't have too much of the possession - unless they've got players who are capable of scoring consistently from distance.

We weren't unlucky against Chelscum IMO - they scored more goals than we did and always looked more likely.

Sunderland is not an easy fixture, but we played atrociously badly (not that they were much better). The performance was worrying.

In all my time watching Fulham (1974), I can only recall calling for Alan Dicks and Lawrie Sanchez to go. Arbeloa's tactics are so naive that I want him gone.

Stop blaming the defence and individual defenders, the problem is that for some strange reason our fullbacks are playing as forwards.

Look at every goal that we have conceded and work out where our fullbacks are. They are probably nowhere near where you would want them to be.

That's quite impressive. I can recall calling for Lewington, McKay, Branfoot, Coleman, Jol, Magath and Symons to go.

I thought the boos were undeserved.  If the lads don't run, tackle or try then go ahead and boo, but the lads did that.

There's loads to enjoy: attacks, shots, moves, 1-2 passes, a couple of goals, could have been more.  I was thoroughly entertained again.

It's just that every half an hour or so Leno's picking the ball out of the net after some horrible defending.

It's not hard or complicated.  Put the new signings in.  Berge is a non-shooting lamppost and Andersen blaming others for an attack that began due to his own sluggishness isn't endearing.  Tete thinks defence first.

We've plenty of attacking flair up top.  Josh King is blossoming.  Garcia is a proper striker.  Put Charles and Larsson in midfield and see how we go.  Let the attackers attack. 

We already know it going to be a struggle, but no need for it to be a dour one.

I signed up for a rough old season but didn't anticipate games against newly promoted teams, almost traditionally expected to struggle a bit, would actually be the quintessential six pointers so early in this season with us as the underdog. It's a steep old learning curve but we look better than last season going forward and there is more about the midfield, better than last season?. If a back four can be drilled to actually defend, I suspect with at least one key change in it, then at least many of the current errors will disappear. I'm still on ten games before a review but I would want to see something to make me smile next week even if it's just not starting Bobb or Anderson.

Who ever started the  "what the f——-ing hell was that" chant needs to give their head a wobble. We dominated the game, both in possession and attempts on goal. The defence is the issue, so get a grip of yourself and give the guy some space to sort it out.
Frankly I'm embarrassed for you only it being only 3 games in.
If tomorrow was the 1st December then it'd be a different call.

I think that I felt that it was obvious that Magath would go, so didn't need to scream and shout about it.

I think a back four can already defend - IMO the trouble is they are being drilled to become attackers.

It's not the losing, it's the nature of it! Honestly the goals we conceded were beyond embarrassing and completely down to Tatics. He's going to lose that dressing room incredibly quickly if he doesn't fix up and change the approach, it's so so so naive, goodness knows how he was ever a defender.

Apologise. Got a bit lazy there. If AA is going to persist with Iwobi he needs to be out wide to free up space for a genuine midfielder to cement a partnership with Charles who I think has to be the regular choice in that position. Bobb certainly isn't that option so for me he starts on the bench.
Mind you saying all that Iwobi has to come up with something dazzling pretty darn quick.

So you'd shift Iwobi to the right and leave Palacios in the starting lineup? I'd prefer Iwobi in for Palacios and leave Bobb on the right.

He isn't going to sort it out that is the way he sets up his team on his bio it says no retreat no surrender so he is stubborn and won't change . Russell Martin vibes all over this

The flavour and set up of this team looks completely wrong - let's hope the new players can bed in - and please ...... drop Andersen and never bring on ESR to rescue a point when you have Kevin on the bench

Other than that we murdered  Palace today and Henderson made some brilliant saves - should have won that game 4-1

Sorry Bobb just doesn't look like scoring to me. One or two moments of promise but it never goes anywhere. Happy to give him a bit longer but he's far from guaranteed to start IMO.

Before the match I said that Palacios should be dropped with Berge and Charles in the middle. I thought Palacios played quite well today though.
