Could t give a toss if he has deleted his posts or not, he had a bad game and got booed. He and us then move on. Anyone mentioning Kevin's post which some say was a dig at the manager?

Thats far more worrying, no one should be thinking they should start without question, you earn the right to play for the badge and team.

Didn't see the post, what did it say? If true and it's a dig at the Manager then it's a real shame.

I agree he should be our shoe-in LW this year and have been frustrated he's not been playing.

However.. in Arbeloa's defence.. every time he is brought on he is fairly ineffective.

So he has to work hard to win back his place. Any dissent when you're 22 and new to the Prem is a poor show I'm afraid. These players need to be more professional and not just mutiny at the first sign of choppy waters.

Blimey oh Riley.

I didn't say Kevin should be playing, I said he should earn it and for me he hasn't. Flatters to deceive a lot of the time, needs to cut out a lot of the show pony stuff and play the ball.

His post was apparently a photo saying no hear, no speak, no see

For me I can't look for scape goats, we need to sort the defensive li e as we are exposed. Just play 5 maybe 10 yards deeper with the CB's so less ground in behind. Even more so if the fullbacks have to be high but maybe one stays back if they don't have the ball that side. It's little things but we all know Iwobi isn't a central midfielder, he should be wider where he has been more effective for us, maybe the new signings will allow that

It appears ESR has also deleted his social media posts now

The club may have instructed them too I suppose.  New management with new ideas etc.

Total guess though.

Quote from: Craven Mad on September 06, 2026, 12:13:16 PMHe's not a natural CM and, given how wide our CBs are pushed in this system, our CMs are under an unusually high amount of pressure to keep the ball.

The role doesn't suit Iwobi, but that's not his fault. He should be the LW/LAM IMO. I don't like that fans are on his back when he's tried to professionally get on with a job Arbeloa's picked for him, which every fan knew wouldn't suit him.

100% this.
He was poor yesterday but has been good for us overall, and not his fault he's been asked to play a role that doesn't suit him. I couldn't tell if he got booed off or fans were cheering Muniz coming on, but certainly any booing would be 100% out of order IMO

Theyre just drama queens. We should have got rid of those 2 when it was clear they wouldnt work in this new system. As for Kevin, hes been clean useless and a waste of money so far

Timing is a bit too coincidental, dont you think?

If he could delete his contract with us that would be fab

I've deleted all my social media this weekend too.
Nothing to do with the club. Just my ineptitude and a new sim!

Whats Kevin done that has made sparks fly so far???  People say we have a deep bench but when you put it under a microscope, there's not a whole lot that gives me any confidence.

He can be frustrating at times but Iwobi created 44 chances last season, which far exceeded anyone else.

Good point.
With Wilson, Raul and Chukuweze gone, he has the best record for goals+assists too.

Quote from: Whitestone on September 06, 2026, 09:40:07 AMThe treatment Iwobi got yesterday says more about those that reacted in the way they did. It took me by surprise and I thought it was a disgraceful way to treat one of our players. The booing at the end and all that went with it was pathetic,  but it was a minority, mostly at the back of the Hammy End.

The booing was quite load at back off Hammy End as was the "Wha the effing hell was that" chant

That will be the coke wearing off.

I'm at the back of the Hammy End. More than a few arrive wasted, spend 30 minutes at the bar at half time, most of the game hurling abuse at the players and manager and then strut out after 75 minutes if we're losing as if they're protesting against the Glazers.

https://www.fotmob.com/teams/9879/stats/fulham/players (change season to 25/26...you'll also see he led in chances created in 24/25 with 59)

Alex has been criminally underappreciated by a significant portion of the fan base during his time here. Over the course of the three seasons he's been here he's been our best player (not saying he's been the best player each season, but cumulatively over all three).

I didn't think Iwobi was so bad on Saturday...I'm astonished by some of the negativity directed his way.
