Shame we can't delete him after yesterday's inept 1/10 performance (the 1 was for putting his boots on) and also his Instagram (which is social media) is still full of Fulham stuff so get the fact right before making such a sweeping statement

I've seen a couple jests toward iwobi for yesterday and I thought he was doing well for the most part.
He was getting on the ball and moving it forward quite well. His diagonal passes forward returned too.

Not outstanding, absolutely not, but I wouldn't have give him a 1!

He was getting on the ball and moving it forward quite well. His diagonal passes forward returned too.

Interesting, especially as before fulham. I use to joke to my everton supporting family that iwobi was the biggest pretender. 'He can't even kick a ball properly' was an often comment.

While he's sort of continued that trait here, I've grew to find his unorthodox style quite effective.

I think that's probably how things will evolve for Iwobi. A decent squad player who is able to fill in a number of positions in the same way that Decorova-Reid did a few seasons ago.

I really don't get the over-reaction To Iwobi. I don't think central midfield is his best position and I think he's been doing his best to cover that role. Despite still conceding another totally daft goal, the shape of the team looked better when Berge came on.

I thought Iwobi had a poor game yesterday. His first touch is poor and he cannot kill the ball dead and it always bounces too far from his feet, giving the opposition a chance to nick it. In fact did he even have a shot in any of the games so far this season,which is a shame as he scored a number of goals previously.

We all know his best position is coming in from the left. He is not a CM but has been started there in all our games I think.

Do not agree with any booing of our own players. It is not helpful and after 3 matches is ridiculous. Support is needed, no matter how frustrating it is.

Iwobi doesn't behave like the senior member that he's supposed to be at 30. Worry we have a leadership vacuum.

Looks an upgrade to Berge offensively, if he can do the defensive part well too might have some player on our hands.

A midfield 3  of Charles, Larsson and King would be something to be excited about if they can hit it off

He's an excellent footballer, many great qualities and no one should question his class.  Form is different and he's not in form. In his time here he's been very good at stunning even quite messy ball dead and not giving the opposition a sniff of it.  Both home games he's started out not doing that then growing into the game a bit.

He's not a natural CM and, given how wide our CBs are pushed in this system, our CMs are under an unusually high amount of pressure to keep the ball.

The role doesn't suit Iwobi, but that's not his fault. He should be the LW/LAM IMO. I don't like that fans are on his back when he's tried to professionally get on with a job Arbeloa's picked for him, which every fan knew wouldn't suit him.

I'm a bit worried about all this social media stuff from the players. It's childish, but indicative of discontent.

Hopefully Arbeloa can move things about for the next game, and get things working.

Looks like the OP is correct - Iwobi seems to have wiped us (and football) off the face of his social media.

He's how old, 30? Plus, isn't his best friend the captain? Bit childish really. Hope he can overcome the criticism (which he has to appreciate has been fairly justified) and bounce back. We will need him this season as he's been very good over the last few years if a little inconsistent at times.

Footballers were never famous for being mature people. Probably something about being paid millions of pounds a year and being idolised by thousands of people.
