"It is understood Norway international Berge was among the options explored by Chelsea during the final stages of the window, though they did not make a formal bid and Fulham considered the 28-year-old not for sale."

They should've put a £60m bid, I'm sure Fulham would've accepted that.

Bassey the warrior

Not sure selling him on the last day would've been wise. That being said I've been disappointed with him this season, I was defending him pre-season when some people said he won't fit in with these tactics but so far they've been proven right. He's both slow to get around the pitch and slow to move on the ball, Charles has looked a much better fit so far.

The Cravenette

It is weird as he played so much quicker and assertive in the WC for Norway. I really thought Marco must have been coaching him to be more conservative and he would be a different player under AA but, apart from a couple of shots, it hasn't really shown yet.

There is still a player there though and I still think a place for him in the squad. I never really understand the shouts to sell our players, particularly at the end of a window. It would have left us really short if he had been sold.
