Arbeloa (yes another Arbeloa thread) but I do blame the Khans for hanging on to the belief that Marco Silva was going to sign a new deal for so long, thus leaving it entirely impossible to replace him.

Personally, if Marco Silva had not signed a new contract in that international break, then I'd have had a set of balls as an owner, and said it's off the table, we part ways.

This put Arbeloa in a precarious position even before he joined Fulham, limited time to put his stamp on the team, a squad full of Marco Silva players and an unprepared summer transfer window again.

With appointing someone like Arbeloa, time was key, especially with his inexperience, along with his backroom staff.

Due to the short timings of replacing Marco, I'd have personally gone for a more experienced coach, and not gone through the complete overhaul we've done now, but made tweaks over 2/3 seasons.

Pretty sure Arbeloa will turn out to be a good coach, somewhere, but I think he's been hung out to dry here a little by the owners.

Once we get Liverpool and United out the way, which on paper, will probably be losses, he'll be going into Ipswich 5 league defeats deep, which is never good for any coach.

I'm hoping he proves us all wrong and turns it around, however, I've a feeling he'll be gone later Oct early Nov and we'll be in the market for a new coach.

Totally agree about the appointment scenario of AA.
However he must shoulder some accountability for his inflexible tactics.
