I cracked my laptop screen, and have replaced it with a new one.

But what to do with the old one? Can I just throw it away (but presumably this will cause distress to penguins or something)? Sell it? Recycle it?

Cheers.

Get rid of the broken glass and turn it into the coolest photo frame on the planet. Put your kids in there (if you have any), your parents or Fulham.  :045:

Recycle it by taking it to your nearest recycling centre, All of them should have a dedicated place for it to be dumped.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Put it on Ebay as slightly used and put "as is" somewhere in the discription.

Ah, cheers LB (et al.).

So, LB, are you saying that under this WEEE law, once I am finished with something and it needs recycling, then all I have to do is return it to whence it came originally?  Just thinking of that restaurant I visited last night!
