Watching the match of the day highlights of the West Brom game and I was thinking West Brom look a much better side. They don't look as if they are going to get relegated. But can Roy sustain that level of play?

Blingo

In my view he is still a top class manager and will always have my respect.

The simple answer to your question is YES.

White Noise

Yes,. Fully expect them to stay up. They have got some good players there and some interestinbg options and RH will bring in good additions in the summer.

Yes, he is already doing it. Watched the game yesterday and it looked like something close to Roy's Fulham. He may lack the talent we had in the middle, with Danny, but he got lots of players with pace and technical ability.

Burt

Well he has already chalked up an away win, which isn't bad going!

WBA looked more solid at the back, and there was a disciplined game-plan to them. Roy is putting his stamp on that team.

No because he'll never again be offered a job at a big club.

What he won't do is replicate our 7th place finish - which was a tad freakish anyway - but what I'm sure he will do is keep them up and make them a hard side to beat. And frankly good luck to him - hard to think of another side I'd rather he was at doing that.

None of West Brom's home games look easy. I still think they'll go down but with a points total more than enough to keep them up most seasons.

No team deserves relegation this season.

My guess in order of probability is

Wigan
West Brom
Blackburn
Blackpool
Wolves
West Ham
Birmingham

But no one on 36 points or less is safe.

He's pigeon holed himself into a survival specialist... not good enough for a propper team but just good enought to save you from the drop... he should make a fair bit of coin as a one trick pony.  :dead horse: Let that guy move on in peace. Sick of hearing his name... I know it's just a discussion but that's my tuppence worth.
