So, are Bangladesh bowling brilliantly or are England batting badly? Sadly I can't see the game so have to follow Cricinfo text commentary...

I can't watch either but, as with a lot of ODI games, the toss has been massive. That said, England playing just the one spinner might end up being a mistake. But Bangladesh aren't a bad side these days in limited overs cricket.

The Equalizer

55/3 off of 17.3 overs.

I don't want to watch!

It's not quite the same, plus it was a few years ago (actually early last summer I think) but the Bangladeshis' batting does, or should I say did, revolve around only a few players. Couple of early wickets and we could be alright.

That said, even if we qualify, I seriously doubt we'll last much longer. No bad thing, they need a rest before Tests against SL and India this summer.

Seriously odd squad selection IMO.

Treadwell clearly isn't trusted nor Luke Wright so two places in a 15 man squad are wasted.

We need either specialist spinners or one day batters who can be useful as spinners. Blackwell, Patel and Rashid are three of those and if the first two are discounted because of weight and fitness issues then to me that seems ridiculous given the specific needs of this World Cup.

Absolutely - would love to know what function Collingwood performs too. Couldn't buy a run in the Ashes, and he's not done much better here.

that's a very dry wicket by the look of it,it's not a lost game by any means but we really need to be at the top of our game to pull this out of the fire :clap_hands: :clap_hands:

TheDaddy

225 all out not the best but fingers x we still could win this one.
"Well blow me if it wasnt the badger who did it "

England not doing well

How many times have I heard that in my life?

King_Crud

looking ok now, Bangladesh seem to be imploding

The Equalizer

60 runs still isn't much, but I think we're safe.

As I said that, there goes another! I'm certain we're safe now.
