Fulham boss Mark Hughes has targeted a summer move for Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka and is also monitoring Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou.

Spurs are willing to let Corluka go for the right price and Hughes is keen on the right-back, who can also operate in the centre of defence.

Sparky wants to freshen up an ageing squad and Corluka and Kalou, both 25, fit the bill.

I don't mind being linked and I dont mind getting good players, BUT as Long as we are sensible and we don't end up having one last go at being big before MAF leaves us.
We seem to have some good youngsters who ok, may not be ready to play in the first team for a year or two, but I would prefer to go with them.

Can't see Kalou being interested in joining a club like us when there will be plenty of interest from bigger clubs with deeper pockets.
