Scoring and conceding under Hughes

Do you think we can hit the heights of previous seasons in scoring? Possible to get us up to/over 39 scored if we hammer Blackpool, possibly, although we have a tough 8 games left. If we did, that would be very impressive given how our goals dried up in the absence of Zamora.

We're obviously going to concede more than our 7th place season, but we'll probably also stay under the 46 conceded last season. If we're less defensive under Hughes, it isn't showing.

Anything we can glean from this? Probably not, although it looks like we've hardly changed under Hughes. Even our away record is similar! Last season it was 1 win and 7 draws away - we're now on 1 win and 8 draws (with Man U, Wolves, Sunderland and Birmingham left - so I'd predict 1, possibly 2 more draws away and no wins).

Interesting reading.

Despite BZ being injured for much of the season, others have compensated for that.

But at a goal a game it does show we are not exactly a free-scoring side. Oh for a 20 goal a season forward!!

I agree with Mr Imperial White in that I can't see another away win this season. Three draws perhaps...
