For someone who has no legs left (allegedly), this is pretty impressive:

Most Premier League touches (2010/11)

1. Danny Murphy (2737)
2. Gael Clichy (2675)
3. Charlie Adam (2646)
4. Michael Essien (2542)
5. Leighton Baines (2459)
6. Benoit Assou-Ekotto (2455)
7. Jose Enrique (2435)
8. Ashley Cole (2385)
9. Bacary Sagna (2330)
10. Barry Ferguson (2291)
If you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you are most likely dead

Im suprised Carlton Cole isnt in the top 10.

Especially as he needs 2 touches just to control each pass  :dead horse:

Its seems a bit odd that 4 LB's make into the top ten.

It took me ages to work that one out. I could only count Leighton Baines
I'm with you now. It is odd. You would think someone that dribbles the ball a lot would be up there instead but maybe they drift in and out a lot being 'flair players.

Mr Fulham

No, it makes sense. Naturally, it's the CMs and the fullbacks who are carrying the balls forward.

Lighthouse

Problem is that the more touches Murph has, the easier we are as a team to stop. If Murph has an off game then so do Fulham. He shouldn't be that pivotal to our game.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Its 5 LB's in fact and I do understand that and its part of the way the game is played now with the full backs involved, its just out of the top ten you have 4 CM's, 5 LB's and 1 RB.   Just looks odd, you would have thought over the 20 teams it would be well balanced, cleary RB's are poo.

Neither should Zamora, but he is.  Whatever anyone thinks of Murphy we are not the same team without him and we must start looking for his longterm replacement this summer and if we can get the right player we can then move Murphy out by mid season.

FC Silver Fox

In my naivety, I would have expected John Terry to be in the top 10 of the most touches.
Oh, this is just ON the pitch.  Oh, I see.
Finn and Corked Hat, you are forever part of the family.

the best options as far as I can tell are Wilshere, Fabregas, maybe Arteta.

Tricky isn't it?
