Seconded. I was at a wargames show in London last weekend and there was a specially constructed diorama of part of ANZAC beach, basically a thin strip of sand, steep cliffs and three lines of trenches. Forget any chance of moving back to a safe area, and they put up with it for all those months.
As Rudyard Kipling wrote, "Lest we forget."

Thank you Mr Finn. This is one day of the year that Australians do very well.
Before the AFL Match at the MCG between Essendon and Collingwood they have a cavalcade of old diggers who fought in various wars go round the ground to thunderous applause. The National Anthem is sung with gusto and the minutes silence is observed reverently. When you consider that the Collingwood fans are an amalgam of Leeds and Millwall this demonstrates just how much Anzac Day is respected.
The most gratifying aspect is how the kids are embracing the traditions of Anzac Day and so long as this occurs, the men who gave their lives will never be forgotten.
