The Equalizer

What an outrage ... Lifelong Hearts supporter overcome with emotion runs on to shake the hand of Jim Jeffries to congratulate him on achieving 3rd place & getting into Europe ... Alan Thomson trips him up in an act of thuggery, then him & Lennon lay into the poor guy in a sectarian frenzy which catches the eye of nearby police officers who then conspire to frame him with assault .. Talk about paranoia & victim mentality ... I hope justice prevails!
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010

There is certainly a difference between the reaction of Neil Lennon and that of Joe Jordan when he was assaulted by that Italian idiot. In no way can that Hearts fan's conduct be condoned, and I hope he gets a few months in jail as a warning to others, but Joe Jordan showed a maturity under attack which Neil Lennon lacked. (Then again, Lennon appears to have been the victim of other attacks of one kind or another whereas for JJ the "Italian job" was a one off, so maybe Lennon was simply at the end of his tether.)

Love how the majority of you are justifying everything that has happened Lennon because he isn't a "friendly" bloke himself.

Ridiculous, whatever helps ye sleep at night Rangers fans

The thing being that Joe Jordan has NEVER had to prove he was a hard man, much like Mark Hughes. You don't have to pose when you are.

Hard to argue with that Mr Hatter, especially when you look like this  :005: :

Agree Mike. The guy has been threatened with death if he plays for his country. He's been assaulted in the street. His family have been verbally abused. He has received live bullets in the post; oh yes.. and parcel bombs. He and his family, including parents, are under 24 hour surveillance security. He is assaulted by a fan during a match and if you look at footage of his spat with McCoist you will see that Lennon approaches him in a reasonable manner and puts his arm around him. McCoist obviously says something as Lennon's demeanor changes instantly.

And people justify it by saying Lennon's no angel... what hypocrites. :tom:

High Horse? Hypocrites ourselves?  Have you been drinking... you are certainly Rambling. I love the way you say people are entitled to their opinion and tell me to stop.

The post was obviously wasted on you so I won't bother to elaborate. No doubt you will!
