Fulham and Dundee await Europa League draw

Martin Jol took the helm at Fulham earlier this month Fulham will discover who they face in the Europa League first qualifying round when the draw is made at Uefa's Switzerland HQ at noon on Monday.

The Cottagers, who are seeded, will play their first tie on 30 June, with the second leg taking place on 7 July.

A win would see them join Dundee United in the second qualifying round which will also be drawn on Monday.

The draw for the first and second qualifying rounds of the Champions League will take place as well.

The road to Munich begins with first qualifying round matches being held on 28/29 June and 5/6 July.

The likes of Wales' Bangor City FC and Ireland's Shamrock Rovers will be in the pot for the second round, alongside top European opponents such as FK Partizan, who reached the group stage of last year's tournament, and Dinamo Zagreb.

Second qualifying round matches will be held on 12/13 and 19/20 July, winners of which could face Scottish champions Rangers as they enter the fray.

In the Europa League, newly-appointed Martin Jol's Fulham are in the first qualifying round by way of the Fair Play League.

Despite having a worse disciplinary record than Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester United, the Cottagers won their place due to those teams being already through to European competition because of their league placements.

Jol should expect his team to comfortably outclass any first-round opponent in what will be his first competitive game in charge for his new club.

Fulham fans will be hoping to go a step further than Roy Hodgson's 2009/2010 campaign, which saw the south-west Londoners reach the final of the competition only to be beaten in extra time by Atletico Madrid.

Dundee enter the competition in the second round after finishing fourth in the SPL last season, while Hearts and Stoke City await in round three.
