I'm bored and was expecting something more tangible by now.

And what's the point with us going for another Goalkeeper!? Makes no sense.

Looking forward to the European game at the cottage.

I guess a new manager needs time to scout, approach, negotiate and sign-up new talent.  He's said what he wants/needs and surely he wouldn't have said it without MAF's blessing?

Rome wasn't built in a day, we've come a long way.  I am sure it'll not be long before we take the next steps...

I don't believe the stories about this new goalkeeper, the players that Jol signs will be none of the players we are linked with by the lazy journalists. They must be working on new players I guess we will have to be patient , plenty of time though.

I don't know what to make of this latest goalkeeper rumour. There is no doubt we have been linked to several goalkeepers since the January window closed and, although we all query why we would be interested in another 'keeper, I can't help feeling there is no smoke without fire. Add to this the story on TIFF that MS has moved our of his house near Silvermere Golf Club (although the guy who reported it is the first to admit it may signify nothing), and you have to wonder whether Mark is on his way. If so, why isn't Stockdale being regarded as his replacement, rather than bringing in a new man who would not join us to become the bench sitter? Does Mr Fulham have a view on this?

There's plenty of time for transfers, so    S001.gif

Yeah, by my math, we're still 8 days away from THE START of the transfer season.

7 days off the start of competitive action. I don't like seeing us always lose ground on other clubs - Sunderland, Wolves and Newcastle already signing up good players or others with good potential... why do we always leave it soo late, or relatively late considering everything - the likelihood is that we'll end up signing a player just after the squad for Europe needs to be submitted, etc etc etc...

Anyone signed up won't be for the early stages of the Europa - they will specifically signed for the Prem.
