This is the reformed, improved Barton but Newcastle still want rid. For nothing. NOW.

QPR alone amongst Premier League clubs want him.

For all his talent and intelligence he's obviously a malign, odious presence and the last thing we need.

Plus he is on £60k a week, which would make him our highest earner. Now there is a good way to upset the team - bring in someone who has failed to settle anywhere and give them the best wage packet.

If it does happen then pleased he will not be lining up against us on sunday and plenty of time for him to get suspended before 1st Oct.

No Barton in central midfield for NUFC this sunday then. He is what makes them tick & his distribution in the middle of the park is immense. So that means they will be playing with their version of Etuhu (Tiote), I think we might nick a win now.
