Just confirmed from inside sources of Spurs on SSN.

WTF...why?

I am not unhappy about it, but is the G6 (CZK dude) a RB?
At clubs with bigger memberships, their supporters only touch their colours, but at FFC we have spirit. Fulham people can touch that spirit - they are the real Cottagers, they are the club

Hey we need defenders. Forwards we have so many of them. With Halliche on his way out on loan we are down to our last 347 defenders.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

You can't have enough defenders. Do you think anyone would notice if we played a 12-3-3 formation?
Finn and Corked Hat, you are forever part of the family.

Likelihood this will go through? I can see that getting rejected!

Mr Fulham

I think Hutton would be a good move for us. We saw that we're lacking an attacking right-back.

Let Kelly leave and sign him up. Grygera can provide cover for Briggs at LB until Riise sen. returns and for H&H&S at CB.

Hutton > Grygera, especially going forward. Would be happy if it came through, but isn't he on his way to Villa for talks?

He indeed was at Bodymoor Heath today, but Villa confirmed talks broke down.

Doesn't look too promising...

Sky Sports sources understand Alan Hutton is close to a £4million move to Aston Villa and has left Scotland's training camp in order for the transfer to progress.

The Tottenham right-back has emerged as one of compatriot Alex McLeish's top targets ahead of the transfer deadline, but Fulham are also understood to have bid £4m.

Villa boss McLeish wants to strengthen his defence and could offer Hutton first-team football, which he is not guaranteed at Spurs.

The 26-year-old, who has also spent time on loan with Sunderland since moving to White Hart Lane from one of McLeish's former clubs, Rangers, in 2008, is therefore set to hold talks with Villa.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp earlier on Wednesday confirmed he was prepared to allow some of his fringe players to leave and this appears to include Hutton.

The defender is a part of Scotland's squad for the crucial Euro 2012 qualifying double-header against Czech Republic and Lithuania, but has been granted permission to discuss a transfer.

Really? Fair enough, complete contradiction to the article they wrote and published 20 minutes ago, but I suppose that's more positive.

Now sky report spurs have allowed him to speak to villa.

hesedmedia

BBC reporting on the live blog that he's at Villa:
