Did anyone else spot the loophole in the rules covering the faxes sent to the FA, as explained on SSN? Apparently the submission does not have to be completed by 11pm, as long as transmission of the first page has started by that time. So 'arry can send a sheet headed "10.58pm 31/8/2011 - Contract between Tottenham Hotspur FC and Player X" and then carry on negotiations for another hour or so until the fax machine is "repaired".
