Personally if JAR and Duff are fit I would play them but apart from that I agree. I love the idea of either Dembele/Dempsey/Duff/Ruiz playing in a three behind Zamora and with them swapping and switching amongst themselves the opposition defence could be easily confused.

Jol will probably Sub Duff for Ruiz ,as Duff was in action during the week but he was subbed  for the RoI ( Kelly played the full game against Russia ). On current form Duff will probably start.

I'd be half tempted to play Etuhu though to counter N'Zonzi.

If the plan is to play 4-2-3-1 then I'd play Etuhu and Murphy as the 2.

Covering central defence, filling in for attacking full backs and getting the ball to the 3 is exactly what Etuhu is good at.

As one of a fluid 3 Dembele may find room as the other 2 would need equal attention.

Zamora as the fulcrum.

You have to pity Blackburn.
