Summary of last night

As I was unable to make it last night I was looking for clarity from FOF on how it all went last night.

So far I have determined that:
1. We played well.
2. We didn't play well.
3. AJ was fantastic.
4. AJ is a useless lump.
5. Murphy ran the show.
6. Murphy is past it.
7. The team had more sense of purpose and tactical nouse.
8. The team were disjointed and all over the place.

It really was a game of two halves I suppose.

Last night, watching the game I felt we were massively improved over Sunday. This morning reading all the negative comments on the baord...I'm not so certain.

Are Twente a better team than Blackburn?
Did we look better organised? Or was it just that the entusiasm of Kasami and AJ  and Dembele passing to people and looking as though he wanted to play that all fooled me into thinking that?
Is disappearing for the entire game a John family trait?

And something else I learned from the commentator is that Marcel Gecov's surname is apparently pronounced Getsoff, as in he rarely get's off the bench

I'm late to this party, but I thought we were MUCH better against Twente than against Blackburn. And this was somewhat comforting because I think Twente are a much better side. The team looked aggressive and up for it.

Gonna be seeing that kid De Jong and the Brazilian who played on the left side in the Prem in January. CJ's brother looked lost -- surprised? Nah, me either.

I thoroughly enjoyed last nights match (apart from the missed penalty)! The pace of the game was amazing.
