You might have chanced down Harbord Street, at a loose end one weekend...
Or against your better judgement been dragged here by a friend.
Second or third generation?  then your forebears are to blame,
But no matter how we got here, we're all here just the same.
No need to keep tradition; there were easier paths to take
To Manchester, or down the road...but honour was at stake.
We could've picked a mega club (or a big 'un at any rate)..
But the club had already chosen us and we all found out too late.
But whatever luck..or fate..will chuck our comradeship still stems
From following that exasperating club down by the Thames.

A gentle reminder that poetry can still make sense out of confusion.   cheers ron.
You are my Fulham, My only Fulham,
You make me happy, When skies are grey,
You'll never know just, How much I love you,
So please don't take,My Fulham...Away

You're starting to sound like Sister Sledge there Syd!

Great work on that rime Ron, you could be a potential challenger to Corked Hat's throne!
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010
