Just to inform you that I'm attending the match. Will post an update in this thread if Briggs gets a chance. Big match for both sides. Both teams with 2 wins out of 2 so far. None have let in a goal.

thanks, Bilet. Also, if there's any young Norweigians that might do us a solid down the road, let us know.

Enjoy!

Didn't we sign a Norwegian or Swedish kid during the summer who is meant to be the next big thing. Anyone know how he's getting on?

Muamer Tankovic, he's Swedish and scored in our 4-3 win over Arsenal U18's. Only 16 too.

Any truth in the rumour that Briggs has been injured during warm up?

KOThe game starts and England were dealt another injury blow in the warm-up as Matthew Briggs pulled up. Nathan Baker starts in .

England won 2-1

Burt

Bugger...wonder how serious the injury was. Hopefully he was rested as a precaution rather than anything more serious than that.

Bilet

Briggs injured but didn't see it happen. Poor England side and Norway the best team for most of the game. Chamberlain got some real quick feet.

Norwegian players to watch: Valon Berisha and Yann Erik De Lanlay.

Just googled the two players Mr Bilet mentioned and they both play for Viking Stavanger which produced a certain Brede Hangeland and Erik "the Viking" Nevland. Hmmm, maybe three times lucky? These guys seem to know how to raise talents. Worth a punt before they get expensive.
