08:00 PM 25 October, 2011

Franck Tabanou has revealed his desire to join Paris St Germain.

Fulham coach Martin Jol is thought to have placed the 22-year-old on his wanted list at Craven Cottage, as he looks to add more quality to his squad in the New Year.

However, the Toulouse midfielder has revealed that should be move on when the window reopens, he would prefer to stay in Ligue 1 and move to the current league leaders.

"Joining PSG would be a dream for me," Tabanou told Sport 10. "They are a great club and have attracted top players. When I was young I used to go and watch them."

Mr Fulham

that's us out of it then, but he's a great little player, France under 21 international, scored two and set up four in Ligue 1. Would cost around 8m, so can't see us moving in there.

Burt

With PSG being the Citeh of France at the moment we will be out of the running for this.

Tabanou's agent certainly wants them to be interested. Only a matter of time IMHO.

Citeh also bought Adam Johnson, who was a Championship prospect then. Tabanou is only 22.

Johnson was an England international and a consensus "best young English player" when City bought him. He was NOT an investment in youth -- he was signed for immediate effect.

My point was that Johnson was not a "prospect" as you described him; rather, he was already a proven commodity.
