Fulham keen on Pavlyuchenko swoop

09:00 AM 01 November, 2011

Fulham Football Club hope to land Roman Pavlyuchenko in January.

The Russian international is eager to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the New Year, as he struggles to gain regular first team action at the White Hart Lane club.

Harry Redknapp is prepared to let the striker leave for the right price, and Martin Jol will hope an offer of around £8million will be enough to land the 29-year-old.

The Cottagers, who recorded a 2-0 win at Wigan Athletic on Saturday, are eager to boost their attacking options, and the addition of Pavlyuchenko would be welcomed by fans.

hmmm.....I'm have been well convinced over the past three seasons by Mr. HatterDon that if the player is a current Tottenham player, it aint gonna ever happen. Interesting. We'll have to wait till there is a quote from someone from Fulham.  :dft012:

Nice to see we are being linked with people at least. Jol can obviously see what we need with regards to the problems up front. Will this mean Gignac won't be happening though?

29 now, 30 on the 15th December this year, born 1981. This isn't really achieving anything on the age front at 8 million, unless, we are looking for a straight replacement for Zamora because he's off in January. This seems to be the likely case here otherwise it will just be lazy papefr talk because Roman said he wants out of Spurs.
