Anelka & Defoe

Why do we not try to sign Anelka or Defoe in the transfer market? Yes Anelka plays for Chelscum but he is still a quality act and is out of contract in the summer, the only problem laying there is the wages side of things.
With Defoe we have been linked many of times, imagine bringing him in, and letting AJ go for 2 million or just on a free, that would be a perfect replacement!

Would prefer we want for maybe two younger out and out strikers under 24. Lets try and build for the future not just a season.

Would love to get Anelka in. He has shown he can play for both big and small teams.
